Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in the Site-██ Garages in a separate garage from the other vehicles. The key to SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a locked safe in the site director's office. The key is not to be used for non-testing purposes.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a black SUV nearly identical to a 1993 GMC Typhoon. However, the vehicle includes features not present on non-anomalous vehicles of the same model. Interviews with executives at General Motors have denied having involvement in the creation of SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX deviates from a normal GMC Typhoon in many major ways. The first is the inclusion of the word "Tsunami" in the areas the word "Typhoon" would usually be present. The second deviation is the presence of a 5 speed manual transmission as opposed to a standard 4 speed automatic on all other Typhoons. A 6th transmission marked "FTL" is present on the shift column. Lastly, the speedometer is a digital display with 9 digits.
The hood of the vehicle is unable to be opened. Any attempts to open it with external devices has failed. Any attempt to open it unassisted has resulted in the subject unable to do so.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects manifest when the vehicle is turned on via the key, and is shifted to FTL. If weight is put on the pedal, the vehicle will continually accelerate at a speed of 1000 miles per second. At 20,000 mps, the vehicle will "take off" via unknown means and fly through the stratosphere. Testing has shown that the vehicle can travel faster than light. How the vehicle and all objects inside survive this speed is also currently unknown.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was recovered from a crater following reports of an explosion in ██████, Texas. Witnesses were given Class A Amnestics. Event was covered up as a meteorite landing. SCP-XXXX was found with no structural damage at all despite the force of the crash. Two adult male individuals were found comatose in the front seats, apparently from an unknown trauma. Identification found in their clothes revealed their identities as Harvey Buxton and Isaac Beaty. Records do not show that these individuals ever existed. They have been placed in the Site-██ Medical center.

Several items were found in the glove box. These items include:
-One(1) "GMC Tsunami" Owner's manual
-One(1) Handgun of indeterminate make, broken.
-Seventy-Five(75) Notes of an unknown currency.
-Five(5) Napkins

Of note is the owner's manual, which is completely unique to SCP-XXXX. The following is an excerpt from the manual.
