Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained within a standard humanoid containment unit. The entrance to SCP-XXXX's containment cell should be a re-enforced airlock. The airlock should be only opened from the Observation and Control room which is situated five meters away from the containment chamber. The containment chamber should be fitted with a video surveillance system and monitored at all times by at least two level-3 personnel. Personnel should be rotated weekly. Psychological evaluation is required before the personnel are allowed to return to duty. No personnel are allowed near the containment at any time and should remain at least five meters away to avoid the provocation of SCP-XXXX.

In the case of a breach, the dedicated Containment Zone must be placed on lock-down until the alert is rescinded and all standard precautions must be maintained. All staff is required to lock down any room they are within until specialized containment team MTF Upsilon-95 "Light Warriors" arrives. This team has been equipped with flamethrowers. Any possible SCP-XXXX-1 instances should be dealt with as quickly as possible. SCP-XXXX is to be neutralized and returned to its containment cell via the memetic resistant cage provided.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity, approximately 1.93 meters in height. It has no facial features except for a thin, unnaturally wide mouth, and appears to wear a garb that resembles a black robe. Due to SCP-XXXX's hostile nature, all attempts at a material analysis of the robe have failed and further attempts are to be approved at the discretion of the Site Overseer.

SCP-XXXX has been shown to "freeze" and remain motionless when exposed to temperatures exceeding 100°C.

SCP-XXXX shows the ability to teleport if left unobserved, appearing approximately five meters away from its initial position.

SCP-XXXX exhibits extreme violence towards humans and attacks them on sight. SCP-XXXX attacks its victim using its "claw-like" appendages attached to its hands. These "claws" are extremely sharp and have shown to be able to cut through most materials, including most metals. SCP-XXXX will use these "claws" to attack its victims often causing very deep wounds. During an attack, SCP-XXXX will attempt to remove the victim's heart via its "claws".

SCP will remain near the body of the victim and, if left unobserved, will attempt to add the victim's body to its mass, consuming it through yet unobserved means. This does not appear to have any notable difference to the external appearance of SCP-XXXX. This behavior continues until all of its victims have been consumed or another human comes into the proximity of SCP-XXXX.

If continued to be left unobserved SCP-XXXX will presumably split, generating an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. These instances are, in outward appearance, identical to one of SCP-XXXX's previous victims. However, testing has shown no higher brain functions in spite of their ability to carry out simple tasks at the, presumed, command of SCP-XXXX.

While SCP-XXXX-1 instances appear to talk, these vocalizations are usually just a tactic to lure other humans to SCP-XXXX's presence. SCP-XXXX instances' faces are usually frozen into horrified screams, although personnel have reported occasionally seeing the instances smile maniacally, though this has never been recorded.

Like SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 instances are extremely violent towards humans. While not as fast and strong as SCP-XXXX itself, SCP-XXXX-1 instances can cause severe harm to any human around them. SCP-XXXX-1 instances are normally very easy to dispatch, although they can sometimes survive even after losing approximately 40% of their bodies. SCP-XXXX-1 instances can be destroyed by exposure to flame and produce a thick black gas upon death. This gas has yet to be sampled for analysis but incidents involving SCP-XXXX-1 have shown this gas to only create mild headaches and nosebleeds.

SCP-XXXX has shown to be able to survive explosions, direct gunfire, exposure to liquid nitrogen and being submerged in acid, among many others. All damage deal is ignored by it and after some time, regenerated. While extensive damage can hinder it, (for example destroying its legs will force it to a crawl and destroying both arms makes it unable to attack) nothing has shown to be completely lethal to SCP-XXXX as of yet.

SCP-XXXX was discovered in 2010 following several missing person cases and mysterious sightings in ███████, England. MTF Omega-82 was dispatched to the location, an abandoned warehouse near the downtown area of the city. Many SCP-XXXX-1 instances were found roaming around and were terminated without casualties. SCP-XXXX was found in an empty administrative room near a freshly killed victim. It was successfully captured but whit the cost of one team member. The origin of SCP-XXXX is yet unknown.

Addendum XXXX-1: After the interview regarding SCP-XXXX's recovery, personnel responsible for the surveillance of SCP-XXXX have reported feelings of paranoia and psychological stress after observing SCP-XXXX for long periods. Personnel who haven't even come in contact with SCP-XXXX report seeing vivid nightmares about SCP-XXXX and getting the feeling of being watched. There has also been a notable increase in SCP-XXXX's escape attempts, whit the assigned observers saying SCP-XXXX sometimes disappears when both of them blink. Reclassification as a Keter class object is currently bending.

Addendum XXXX-2: The following is a file of the noted psychological effects presumed to be caused by SCP-XXXX.

Addendum: Incidents involving SCP-XXXX
The following file contains all the recorded incidents and breaches involving SCP-XXXX.

Incident Log: SCP-XXXX

Addendum XXXX-3: The following is a video recording of the interview whit D-46581 who was, along with Agent █████ (who was killed by D-46581) responsible for Incident 23-01-2013/XXXX (refer to Incident Log: SCP-XXXX). D-46581 was presumably influenced by SCP-XXXX's psychological effects.
