In addition to having a quarantined area 4 acres by 4 acres as the true magnitude of SCP-xxxx is not quite known strong herbicides are to be pumped weekly into the soil at the edge of the quarantined zone any civilians seen crossing the zone viewing the process of pumping the herbicides or the patrols are to be instantly seized given class A amnestics and driven 5 miles away any civilian reported as having been spotted deep within the zone is to be reported as dead and ignored unless retrieved by a patrol unit if such a case occurs the civilian will be taken to the nearby research facility.
Description: SCP-xxxx Is a giant growth that has genetically been born and spliced itself with the traits from multiple other races by [REDACTED] them. Thought to be at least as big as the containment zone it grows in. It is dormant for years or months depending on how many “nutrients” it gathered during its sctive period, it grows extremely slowly only a few cm a year but has existed at least as far back as 1750 although at the rates of growth it's thought that it might have existed when the earth was still being created. it is some how connected to the entire surrounding forest through unknown means, it can manipulate and create beings from the forest usually these beings are made of the surrounding material and are only made to complete a single task for SCP-xxxx they are currently being classed as SCP-xxx A until further notice, through rigorous testing no abnormal properties can be found except for the fact that the materials can be used like a puppet by SCP-xxxx.
All SCP-xxxx-A and have one common weakness namely the fact that they are usually made of easily destructible materials and if without any weapon all SCP-xxxx-A and there variants also have a tendril of a genetically altered root like material which is always retracted into the earth after the destruction of the creature if this tendril is destroyed while the creatures are still alive it completely destroys all cohesion of the creature and they typically will fall to the ground neutralised if SCP-xxxx is desperate it is known to attempt to reanimate the creatures if there is not much structural damage. on average the reanimated creature will be extremely aggressive and will only last a few minutes they are usually a last resort.
