Item #: SCP-4386
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4386 is to be placed in a 4x4x4 meter containment cell, comprised of wood and brick. Every 30 days, the cell is to be filled with common household utility items, including but not limited to:
- Toasters
- Blenders
- Coffee Mugs
- DVD Players
- Microwaves
These items do not need to be provided a power source for the containment to be effective. At the end of the 30 days, while the cell is being refurbished, a single Class-D personnel will be instructed to utilize as many of the items as possible at once.
During the 30 day cycle, every 10 days, a new Class-D personnel will be sent into SCP-4386's containment and provided with enough food and water to sustain an average, adult human body for approximately 12 days, and enough coffee beans to allow an individual to make black coffee three times a day for 10 days. The Class-D personnel must be instructed to make this coffee and attempt to drink it 3 times a day, while utilizing at least two other types of items at their own leisure.
Description: SCP-4386 is an incorporeal entity capable of inhabiting seemingly non-anomalous household utility items and manipulating them at the discomfort of victims of its choosing. SCP-4386 will continue to inhabit the same items in a designated household before it decides to move on to another dwelling with different utility items.
The anomaly seemingly prefers environments with only one or two victims being present in the immediate vicinity. The reason for this is unknown. SCP-4386’s movement from household to household is sporadic, but can be estimated to at least be at the start of each month. SCP-4386 does not seem to have malicious intent towards its victim(s), but only to cause discomfort and inconvenience to the victim(s).
There have only been 3 reports of confirmed deaths by SCP-4386, 2 of which the victims were found electrocuted in their bathtub, with a hair dryer occupying the same space, while the other report is of a man who had seemingly gone insane and ended his life due to the intense mental stress that the entity had inflicted upon the victim.
