First Time SCP Ideas
rating: 0+x

I have several SCP ideas, but I don't know which one to make my first article. I will give a description on the SCP's and what I think their object class should be. I will come up with containment procedures in my own time. Not everything is set in stone and will change in one way or another, and the descriptions are just the basics about the ideas and will become more detailed over time.

Any critiques and recommendations are welcome.

Idea 1: "The Whispering Willow" (Suggested by my mother)

Object Class: Safe

Description: "The Whispering Willow" is a tree of the Salix babylonica species. It stands at approximately twenty-five meters in height, and is inhabited by an untold number of moths of the Hyalophora cecropia species. If one makes contact with "The Whispering Willow", they will be put into a catatonic state. The moths will fly towards the ears of whoever is in the vicinity and begin to whisper the thoughts of the one touching the tree to them. The whispers will end after sixty seconds and whoever was touching the tree will be released, although in a more tired state.

Idea 2: "The Heart-Shaped Locket"

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: "The Heart-Shaped Locket" is to be kept in a double-locked wrought iron lock box in the center of a 5 meter by 5 meter containment room. This room is to be guarded by four armed personnel at all times. The room is to have a clearance level of 3 or higher.

Description: "The Heart-Shaped Locket" appears as a simple silver locket taking the shape of a simple heart on a thin chain. An erotic photo is inside of the locket. Both the locket and photo have no known origin, but have been theorized to date back to February 14th, 1969.
The erotic photo has been noted to show a different individual per observer looking at the photo, described as "being the perfect love interest" by most test subjects. Looking at the photograph for longer than 6 seconds will result in the life force of the observer being drained by the photo until the observer dies. This process takes around 90 seconds.
The process of the life force being drained can be disrupted and even reversed. To do this, the vision of the observer must be obscures for 6 or more seconds. Obscuring the photo by closing the locket will have the same effect. If the observer is prevented from looking at the photograph, they will go in a fit of rage, doing anything they can to continue looking at the photograph.
