Item #: SCP-4295

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedure: SCP-4295 is to be stored in a 3 m by 3 m by 3 m room and be placed on top of a desk. A computer must be connected to SCP-4295 when not in testing. Physical contact with SCP-4295 is strictly prohibited, ever since incident 4295-A, anyone who does come into physical contact with SCP-4295 will be immediately terminated.

Description: SCP-4295 is a Canon iP3000 inkjet printer. SCP-4295 does not require any paper, ink, or power to function. When paper and ink is placed in SCP-4295, the materials are not used when SCP-4295 prints. Attempts of connecting SCP-4295 to a computer via ethernet, WI-FI, or Bluetooth prove to have no effect on the ability to control what SCP-4295 prints. A computer can control when SCP-4295 prints, and when a computer is connected, it prevents SCP-4295 from printing until the computer commands SCP-4295 otherwise.

When a test subject comes within a 2 m radius of SCP-4295, SCP-4295 prints one page. When the test subject picks up and reads the paper SCP-4295 prints, the test subject becomes anxious and paranoid. Over time the subject's mental state quickly deteriorates until the subject is no longer capable of breathing due to extreme brain damage. The amount of time that this process takes varies from one and a half hours to two days.

The pages that SCP-4295 prints have no effect on those who read it other than the original test subject. On the page is a poem, different for each individual and range in length but no longer than one page.

If a test subject is to come into physical contact with SCP-4295 they become obsessed with the anomalous object. The turned subject, identified as SCP-4295-01, will stay within a 2 m radius of SCP-4295 and becomes hostile when being forcibly removed from the area. SCP-4295-01 will try to return to the 2 m radius around SCP-4295 with any means necessary. SCP-4295-01 will even harm itself to try and get back to SCP-4295. Since incident 4295-A all physical contact with SCP-4295 is prohibited.

Incident 4295-A: After the test subject physically contacted SCP-4295, the subject ignored all vocal commands to leave SCP-4295's 2 m radius. When security tried to remove the test subject

Incident 4295-B:
