Special Containment Procedures: It’s currently unknown how to contain SCP-XXXX due to its dimensional nature, but there are certain ways to lure it and study it.
The Lure is a big blue light in a Room, the room has to be comfortable to humans and it should have a very soft bed. After the lure is set, a Class D should enter the room and start sleeping, while asleep, personnel has to make sure the ears of the Class D are fully covered.
If done correctly, SCP-XXXX should appear 93% of the time.
In case SCP-XXXX becomes dangerous, all sources of light should be turned off or covered.
If a normal human knows any information about this SCP outside the facility, it should be quickly erased by sending MTF units to the location where it is.
Description: SCP-XXXX Is an intelligent entity the size of a finger with the shape of a white moth that’s able to jump between dimensions when there are no sources of lights around it.
The “moth” is capable of changing its size and anatomy, communicating through sound waves and changing the mood of humans through a red light on its back. Although SCP-XXXX is docile and will not try to do damage most of the time, that doesn’t mean it is harmless, if a human try to attack it or gets too close when XXXX is not able to jump dimensions, it will release a sound wave that confuses all human subjects nearby to quickly get bigger in size and develop a thick bone structure for self-defense.
When XXXX enters our dimension, it looks for kids or young adults that are pleasantly sleeping; after getting to them, it sits on their heads and bites their outer skin to then quickly get to the closest window or entry. The human will start to have bad dreams and nightmares quickly after the bite. When the human is about to wake up, SCP-XXXX will start making sounds with its wings to interrupt the human sleeping process, next it’ll left the room to change dimensions and the human will wake up with headaches, it’s currently unknown why SCP-XXXX does this.
In some strange cases SCP-XXXX will attack humans directly by entering the space where they are and releasing a sound wave to wake up the victim, after that it will generate a glowing red light on its back that somehow changes the mood of the victim. When its victim is calm, the “moth” will slowly get close to it and do one of two things, eat the victim by changing its size (although it’s very unlikely to happen) or it will [DATA EXPUGNED] releasing memetic information to the victim, if this happens, MTF forces should exterminate the victim or erase the information as quickly as possible.
