Test
This sandbox page is a test for me to get back to later. Currently working on one SCP. Will add new ideas if I get any more.

SCP-IDEA
Anomaly Blocking Mug / “Tea Time”

Item SCP-xxxx

Object Class: Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-??? Is to remain within Foundation facilities for testing and protection. SCP-??? Should not be moved outside of [redacted] miles radius of SCP Foundation Researcher Dr. Catherine [redacted], hereby known as SCP-???-1. If the SCP must be moved to a different Foundation Site for further testing or special security measures (see Addendum) then SCP-???-1 must be reassigned to that location.

SCP-???-1 can move about as a normal human would, so long as she stays in range of the SCP. If the ??? and ???-1 were to separate, the anomalous effects of ??? cease to function for a certain period, potentially permanently. It is unknown what would happen if ???-1 were to be terminated. Extra security details should follow her. As a Thaumiel Class Object, ??? is needed to prevent Containment Breaches of numerous other SCP objects.

It is to be brought out of containment alongside its owner for testing or neutralizing in-progress breaches.

SCP-xxxx-1 is trusted to keep SCP-xxxx safe as its guardian. Extra measures are to protect site personnel from malicious outside forces may also be necessary. Please contact Site Director [redacted] for further information about this part of the protocol.

Description: SCP-??? Is a red and black checkered coffee mug. It is about x centimeters in diameter and can contain up to x grams of liquid. It is physically indistinguishable from a normal coffee mug. The anomaly is a field generated from this mug that cancels out anomalous properties of other SCPs and calms down aggressive SCP entities a great deal.

Testing has shown that these effects last for a temporary period from anywhere between 15 minutes and [redacted] hours if the mug is present in the same room as the affected SCP entity or object. This can give researchers enough time to study the SCP in greater detail in certain cases.

The object was first noted as having anomalous properties on []-[]-20XX, around a year and a half to two years into the tenure of it’s owner as a member of SCP Foundation Staff, though it was apparently in possession of the Doctor as far back as the decade prior, though dating methods have concluded the object is at least [] years old and was manufactured in the nation of Singapore.

Addendum: Interview logs have been conducted with SCP-xxxx-1 about the first discovery of the object and the first time she had noticed it’s anomalous properties. Further interviews with the human subject’s family have indicated they know about the anomaly but are not sure about the process or object causing it.
