Special Containment Procedures: Attempts to contain SCP-XXXX occurences are still ongoing. (See SCP-XXXX containment expeditions) Any occurence of SCP-XXXX must be closely monitored with the SCP-XXXX occurence timer provided in the file. (See Addendum XXXX-1) The Gamma-5 mobile task force ('Red Herrings') are required to cover up or remove any non-physical traces of civilians or objects that have been erased by SCP-XXXX. Civilians who have witnessed an occurence of SCP-XXXX or know a civilian affected by SCP-XXXX must have their memories wiped by Gamma-5 Agents.

All SCP-XXXX occurences and containment expeditions will be closely monitored and recorded by Dr. Williams Dr. Hansworth, the current project supervisor of SCP-XXXX. Following the results of the previous expeditions to contain SCP-XXXX, all essential personnel are required to use Scranton Reality Anchors to avoid the effects of SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon (Nicknamed 'The Removal') that occurs monthly at midnight² in a random populated area³ around the world, and involves the removal of an unspecified number of civilians' physical existence from the plane of the Foundation's reality⁴.

The condition and rationale behind the occurences of SCP-XXXX is still unknown, but due to SCP-XXXX's ability to remove civilians without warning, it has been deemed as a potential Atroxis threat.

Expedition Date: █████ August, 2200 hours

Details: Expedition was held with the aim to uncover the mystery of SCP-XXXX and the removal of three civilians on August 11. Expedition began at █████ Industries, where 2 of the removed civilians worked at prior to their removal. A quick scan of the building and the surrounding areas turned up one point of interest. Said point of interest was located in a hidden room in Basement 2 of the █████ Industries building.

Expedition members found that the room was covered with scrawled messages⁵ reading 'XXXX', '11 September', 'Hiyazaki', 'He is coming', 'You can't stop', 'Present for you', and 'Williams', among other incomprehensible messages.

As the expedition members prepared to leave the building after finding nothing else significant, they reported seeing a 'bright light' and hearing a 'ear-piercing noise' similar to that of a siren. After the team reported the strange occurence, Dr. Williams was officially reported missing from Site 01 without any reported explanation.

Results: Dr. Hansworth was subsequently put in charge of SCP-XXXX in place of Dr. Williams, and Alpha-4 mobile task force members operating in Hiyazaki were ordered to watch out for the next occurence of SCP-XXXX on 11 September and to intercept any package delivered from █████ Industries to █████ Labs.

Foreword: The interview took place in Site █████. The interviewed civilian agreed to give the interview under the belief that it was a psychology evaluation session. The interview has been translated into English.

Interviewer: Let us begin, Mr. █████. What did you see on 10 September?

Interviewed: The wife, █████, she was acting strange. She was normally nice, always greeted people, always greeted me, with a smile, everytime she went shopping. But that day, she was silent. Didn't greet anyone. Her hair was a mess. She looked like she had a fight with her husband.

Interviewer: And that was the last time you saw her?

Interviewed: I think so. I also didn't see her husband or her child leave the house.

Interviewer: And you think they've…been abducted?

Interviewed: Yes, why else could you explain it? The door was locked from the inside. The windows were all closed. The lights were all switched on! There was no other way they could vanish, just like that! (Snaps Fingers)

Interviewer: What do you think about this?

Interviewed: It's either I'm crazy, or something bad happened that the authorities are not telling us. (Pauses) Do you believe me?

Interviewer: Yes.

Interviewed: Thank God! I thought I was crazy for a second there!

Interviewer: Right. Now, I need you to step through that door. (Gestures to the containment cell entrance) We need you to run some… psychological tests, before I can release you. Can you do that?

Interviewed: I think so.

Closing Statement: The interviewed civilian was ushered to the door, where he was promptly knocked unconscious by Gamma-5 mobile task force members, and locked in a containment cell. The civilian's memory was subsequently wiped and he was released shortly after the process.

2nd SCP-XXXX Containment Expedition

2ND OFFICIAL SCP-XXXX CONTAINMENT EXPEDITION

Expedition Location: Mikazo House, Hiyazaki, Japan

Expedition Date: █████ September, 0200 hours

Opening Statement: All Gamma-5 Agents wore a Scranton Reality Anchor Harness before intercepting the package. Dr. Hansworth observed the operation in a room with an SRA installed.

Details: Expedition was held with the aim to uncover the mystery of SCP-XXXX and the removal of three civilians on September 11. Expedition began in the Mikazo House, where a quick scan revealed that it was undisturbed, with no overturned furniture.

However, a closer analysis revealed that the basement of the house hid a hastily-dug tunnel behind a cupboard. The tunnel led to a dead end, with a audio recorder found crammed into a crevice in the wall of the tunnel.

After the recorder was brought back to Site █████ and played, a high-pitched noise similar to the one reportedly heard in the first expedition could be heard, followed by a monotonous voice⁷ repeatedly saying 'Pinewood', 'Next', 'Hansworth', and 'You can't stop this.'

Results: The civilians from Pinewood were hurriedly moved out of the town following the conclusion of the expedition. Gamma-5 agents closely guarded the town boundaries to ensure that no civilian could go into the town.

Details: █████ was one of the agents that guarded the Pinewood boundaries to prevent any civilians from entering the town, and was removed shortly after his shift. It was noted that █████ had failed to wear his SRA Harness before his shift for an unknown reason.

Shortly after his removal, a signal from his communicator⁸ was sent to other Gamma-5 agents' communicators.

Addendum 6: █████ Broadcast Interruption

Broadcast Details: Broadcast was sent approximately 3 minutes after Agent █████ was declared removed.
