Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept on a table in an airtight, moisture-free room in Site-118, where there is to be little to no possibility for SCP-XXXX to be damaged by mould, fire or acidic liquids. This room is to be termed 'The Locker' for reference.
Entry to the Locker is to be granted solely to Class-D personnel assigned the 'Reader' and the 'Turner' status, and only under the condition that they are equipped with the LOC-118 protective suit. Any other personnel who do not obey the above criteria will face Level 5 punishment.
On the scenario in which the 'Last Condition' of SCP-XXXX is broken, all on-site personnel are required to follow the following protocol as stated in SCP-XXXX:
- Wait and verify that the Warning is occuring (In which SCP-XXXX will promptly burst into flames and disintegrate into ashes).
- Pray to SCP-XXXX-1.
- Notify all Foundation Agents to pray to SCP-XXXX-1.
- Following conclusion of praying, all Foundation Agents are to adopt the ascendence position: Kneeling with both knees on the ground, with both hands lifted into the air, and eyes closed. This is to be done within 118 seconds.
- Wait for ascendence.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a leather-bound 118-page book embellished with the title 'Utyama' in gold lettering. Unlike SCP-140, no author name or copyright year can be found within SCP-XXXX. There is no sign of damage to SCP-XXXX, including yellowed, frayed or torn out pages, a damaged cover, or other marks that indicate damage.
SCP-XXXX is written in a font similar to that of the modern-day font termed 'Courier New' and details the teachings, conditions and general story of a deity named Utyama (SCP-XXXX-1), and his relationship with the SCP Foundation.
SCP-XXXX follows the following order for the page details:
- The First Page details Utyama's Conditions in explicit detail, with the protocol the Agents must follow and the consequences should any of the Conditions be broken written below it.
- Even-Numbered Pages briefly state the Conditions again, with new Temporary Conditions added below.
- Odd-Numbered Pages detail Utyama's Teachings, and his history with the Foundation.
- The Last Page includes a letter presumed to have been written by SCP-XXXX-1 himself. In it, he addresses his 'Descendants', and urges them to rise again and 'restore the Foundation back to its former glory', and should they fail, he would personally dissolve the Foundation on his own.
While the Conditions must be observed at all times in the presence of SCP-XXXX, Temporary Conditions are only in effect as long as the page with the written Temporary Conditions is on display. Once the page is turned, the Temporary Conditions will be replaced.
Owing to the Sixth Condition in SCP-XXXX, a Class-D personnel will be selected to be the 'Turner' every month, and is responsible for turning the page of SCP-XXXX. This selection will be based on a few criteria, including Usefulness to Foundation, Cost of Loss, Devotion to Utyama, and Overall Expendability. The personnel with the lowest score at the time of the Page-Turning will be selected.
Following the turning of the page, another Class-D personnel will be selected to be the 'Reader', and is in charge of entering the Locker and memorising the contents of the two new displayed pages, which he/she will then transfer onto 2 blank sheets of paper for SCP-XXXX reseachers to analyse.
As of this present moment, Foundation Personnel are inclined to believe in the existence of SCP-XXXX-1 and obey his teachings and conditions. This decision has been made primarily due to the occurence of incidents related to SCP-XXXX. (See Addendum XXXX-B)

Addendum XXXX-B: Incidents related to SCP-XXXX
Incident 1:
Date: 1 October 20██
Involved Personnel: Doctor Bright, Doctor Callas
Details: While SCP-XXXX was on pages 14-15, Doctor Callas entered the Locker without seeking permission from SCP-XXXX's researchers, and moved SCP-XXXX 9.62 m away from its original position. Approximately 118 seconds later, Doctor Bright proceeded to follow the Book's condition and ██████████, and this action was subsequently halted 118 minutes later. Doctor Bright was unharmed, but promised that that would be the 'worst thing he would ever experience'. Doctor Callas received Level 5 punishment.
Incident 2:
Date: 26 Feburary 20██
Involved Personnel: Researcher Neyman
Details: While SCP-XXXX was on pages 40-41, Researcher Neyman entered the Locker without seeking permission from SCP-XXXX's researchers, and tore out page 41 and page 42. Subsequently, as he exited the Locker, Neyman proceeded to burn the page, loudly proclaiming for SCP-XXXX-1 to 'strike him down'. Approximately 118 hours later, Neyman was found dead in his bunk, with a burn mark on his chest that spelt out 'YOU DO NOT TEST GOD.'
Incident 3:
Date: 7 July 20██
Involved Personnel: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Details: While SCP-XXXX was on the Last Page, [DATA EXPUNGED] entered the Locker without seeking permission from SCP-XXXX's researchers, and proceeded to copy down the Last Page. Before [DATA EXPUNGED] was successfully able to copy down the second sentence, [DATA EXPUNGED] stopped, calmly exited the Locker and proceeded to administer a Level 5 punishment on himself. Subsequently, [DATA EXPUNGED]'s name and details were completely removed from the Foundation's database, and subsequent attempts to write or add [DATA EXPUNGED]'s name were unsuccessful.
Addendum XXXX-C: Email Printouts regarding SCP-XXXX-1
Printout 1:
To: Doctor Phillip Hausinger
From: Doctor Reese Blackwell
Date: 16 May 20██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Doctor Hausinger,
Do you believe in God?
I'm personally not too sure myself, but I don't think so.
Of course, I'm referring to SCP-XXXX-1. I don't think he's a god. I think he is a liar. He created the big lie that he was the Foundation's greatest leader, then got his hands on an SCP which he then modified in his name. Why would anyone believe the lie that he must have created himself?
The Foundation was always right from the very beginning. There wasn't a tyrant like SCP-XXXX-1 controlling it. It was clean, and will always be clean.
I urge you to forget this nonsense that is Utyama, and proceed with your research.
Utyama is not a God.
- Doctor Blackwell
