SCP-4131 when first recovered
Item #: SCP-4131
Object Class: Euclid Keter
Containment Procedures: SCP-4131 is to be contained in a storage area at Site-7, and is to be kept watched by surveillance cameras. Unauthorized personnel must be exterminated, as SCP-4131 may spread throughout the facility. Any movement or activity caused by SCP-4131 is to be reported immediately to containment specialists.
Description: SCP-4131 is a giant plush corn, approximately 0.75m x 1.35m 0.75m, with a scruffed beard and a brown hat. It appears to have semi-sentience, as it shows telepathic communications to victims through electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic tests by Dr. ████ have proven this, as Dr. ████ picked up electromagnetic waves. Any contact with SCP-4131 will result in an immediate cardiac arrest, and the subject's skin turning yellow.
SCP-4131 was found in ███████, New Jersey at a Six Flags amusement park. The amusement park was shut down after children, families, and staff went missing over a period of a week. Due to family trauma and outrage, a coverup for the incident could not be issued. Mobile Task Force was sent to investigate, 5 were killed, 14 were injured, and 9 were infected with a virus.
SCP-4131 was found in a storage room, inside a pile of dead bodies turning into a humanoid-like figure. Upon further investigation, the dead bodies appear to be covered by a virus, now referred to as SCP-4131-1. SCP-4131 does not have capabilities of moving, however, it can command users of SCP-4131-1 to shape into a limb, and connect itself with SCP-4131. SCP-4131 was investigated to be shipped from an abandoned warehouse, located in ██████, Kansas.
SCP-4131-1 is an unknown virus, that covers SCP-4131. SCP-4131-1 is not airborne, however, SCP-4131-1 spreads through contact, either through biological lifeforms or SCP-4131-1's effects will only take place when in contact with human skin. After receiving contact, SCP-4131-1 will immediately invade the victim's heart and will cause lethal cardiac arrest within 2 seconds. SCP-4131-1 is shown to turn the victim's skin into corn, and completely melt the internal organs. The victim of SCP-4131-1's eyes will convert into corn, however, the mouth will transfer to the chest, and become bigger. SCP-4131-1 appears to prefer the head and brain, as SCP-4131-1 will decapitate, and consume the head.
Tests for SCP-4131-1 must be supervised by level 5 personnel, as a containment breach may occur during testing. SCP-4131-1 test subjects are to be contained in a 5m x 3m x 5m chamber, and 2 MTF security officers must guard SCP-4131-1 test subjects. Tests have been run by Dr. ████, and have shown that SCP-4131-1 also affects other animals, such as mammals, insects, birds, and fish. SCP-4131-1 has been seen infecting a lab rat, and the lab rat had been shown to grow in size by five times its amount and became a humanoid figure. Another test has been run, and Dr. ████ infected a cockroach with SCP-4131-1, and the results were the same. Dr.████ has concluded that SCP-4131-1 accommodates the size of the victim and the shape in order to become a humanoid figure. SCP-4131-1 does not have a preference of species, and so the virus is able to infect any living organism. The only known exception for this is bacteria, plants, and fungi.
SCP-4131 is shown to have a small hole in its left eye. Upon entering this hole, the subject will be teleported to a pocket dimension, similar to the Earth. Class D personnel and tests subjects report the sudden urge to eat corn and to drink corn. This pocket dimension, now referred to as SCP-4131-2, is the exact same as Earth. SCP-4131-2 does not affect radio signals or electromagnetic waves, allowing ROVs and Class D members to be sent for expeditions. The opening to SCP-4131-2 is located in ███████ █████ Park, New Jersey, in the middle of a pebble path, and is shown to be a blackish-yellow hole, cutting space-time.
SCP-4131-2 appears to be made out of corn, as every touchable instance such as walls, objects, and floors appear to be made out of corn. This corn was extracted and sent back to the facility and has been shown to be edible. Subjects that ate this corn later reported they could hear a farmer's voice inside their heads, and it would not stop. Subjects later committed suicide, as the farmer told them, "You are no longer needed for my commands." It is theorized that this is SCP-4131's voice, which is used to control SCP-4131-1 victims. Liquids such as water are turned into a yellow substance and are shown to also have the same effect. Gasses in SCP-4131-2 are reported to smell like rotten corn, however, they have no side effects, and are breathable.
SCP-4131-2 appears to be covered in unknown dense yellow fog, requiring a gas mask to breath clearly. A drone has been sent to the atmosphere and has confirmed that the Earth's upper atmosphere in SCP-4131-2 is covered in an unknown gas that turns any object into rust immediately. This atmosphere deems space exploration in SCP-4131-2 impossible.
Expeditions were sent to SCP-4131-2, and have revealed that there are SCP-4131-1 victims inside the pocket dimension. The expedition is to have at least 3 Class D personnel.
The expedition materials were agreed upon by Dr. ████ and level 5 personnel.
