SCP-4572: the black cat

Object-class: Euclid

Special containment procedures: SCP-4572 must be placed in the care of an SCP-Foundation Class-C agent and must change owners every 14 days to avoid manifestation of anomalous effects.

Description: SCP-4572 is a female American short-haired house cat of black coloration. SCP-4572’s effect manifests in giving it’s designated owner/caretaker unnaturally bad luck. SCP-4572 was discovered ██/██/2012 at an animal shelter that had been damaged by a construction failure across the street, SCP-4572’s designated caretaker was killed in the event while SCP-4572 was found by Agent █████. Agent blank took SCP-4572 home and adopted them. 67 days later, Agent █████ was killed during a containment breach and SCP-4572 was adopted by another researcher.

SCP-4572 changed hands multiple times before its anomalous effects were discovered and it was documented as SCP-4572.
