Special containment procedures:
None required. SCP 6347 is to be allowed free reing to roam site [REDACTED], and allowed use of all on-site amenities.
SCP-6347-1, is the classification given to the instances created by SCP-6347, and take the form of a "shield" or "force field" forming around SCP-6347, or any entity being protected by it, this “shields” take angular characteristics, similar to WWII’s tank designs. The instances of SCP-6347-1, when under duress, change color according to the type of damage sustained, known colors include:
Light Yellow, translucent and barely distinguishable while static and not taking any damage.
Grey, when under physical assault by gunfire, or melee attacks.
Red, when deflecting fire, or heat/laser based weaponry.
Green, when in contact with corrosive or poisonous substances.
Light blue when blocking water, thus creating an air bubble that can have its density altered, and work as a floating device or a diving bell.
Dark blue, while under water at high pressure.
Pink, under the effects of gamma radiation, SCP-6347 was given 1 (one) instance of SCP-500 following radiation test.
SCP-6347-1 instances do not seem to be destructible by any means, nuclear testing not approved under any circumstances.
SCP-6347-2 is the classification of 1 (one) instance similar to SCP-6347-1, with rounded features similar to an egg. Only seen after incident 6347/3.
Description:
SCP 6347 is a Caucasian male, around 30 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. 185 cm in height and 90 kg in weight. Currently SCP 6347 resides at site [REDACTED], in the security staff personnel barracks, sharing a room with special agent Veronica Marston, current leader of MTF alpha-3 ("Last Stand"), of which SCP 6347 is an activemember, coded designation "SHIELD".
Coded designation is NOT an acronym, this is a joke SCP-6347 likes to play on staff, betting them a cup of coffee they can’t guess what it means. Disregard the bet.

Acquisition:
SCP 6347 came willingly into Foundation custody during the events of //20—, during a site wide breach of containment of site [REDACTED]. During this event SCP 6347 was observed aiding Foundation personnel by distracting several dangerous SCPs attacking them by apparently, projecting a protective field around itself, and literally getting in the way of their attacks. MTF Alpha-3 ("Last Stand") dispatched to ensure re-containment of the escaped SCPs. 6347 took action by distracting the entities, while MTF Alpha-3 took care of reducing and re-containing them, order issued over radio by command to take advantage of SCP-6347, and contain it on the aftermath. Alpha-3 surrounded SCP-6347, but found themselves unable to shoot or command it to surrender. Special Agent Marston removed her helmet, shook the SCP's hand, and was promptly asked by 6347 to "join in" with her group. SCP-6347 taken in for interrogation and containment. Classified as Euclid.

Interviewer: D-5789, D-class performs the interview due to lack of information at the time regarding capability and intent by the SCP.
Dr. Thomas Windsor supervising from adjacent observation room.
Foreword: SCP-6347 classified as Euclid given the nearly non-existent understanding of his anomalous qualities or intents. D-class personnel had to be forced to enter the interrogation room, panicked state subsided after entering the room.
SCP-6347: Hey there… You look nothing like the people I saw fighting those things, what do you do here?
D-5789: I uh… I guess we D-class just do as told, pretty much.
SCP-6347: Well then, I’m guessing they asked you to interview me or something?
D-5789: Yeah, no, they did but… You seem nice, things here are usually… Well you saw that mess.
SCP-6347: Yeah, I did… But if these people work to keep those monsters under lockdown, I want in.
D-5789: Seriously?
Dr. Windsor: Enough small talk, conduct the interview.
*6347 looks at the intercom and then at the D-class.*
SCP-6347: My name is [REDACTED], born on [REDACTED], I can create shields, and I want to help you people keep other people safe, anything else?
Dr. Windsor: Answer our questions and we'll see what we can do about that.
SCP-6347: Fair enough.
D-5789: Where do you come from?
SCP-6347: The moon… Not really, I was born in the UK, came to the states as a kid, around 5 years old, we moved around a lot. My folks hated the government so we lived on the road, when I was 19, we had a car crash, both died…
D-5789: When did your anomalous powers first appeared?
SCP-6347: The crash, I saw it appear around me, I bounced around the wreckage, no injuries, the doctors thought I was sleep at the time, had no fractures.
D-5789: How much do you know about it?
SCP-6347: I know it changes color, never managed to break or weaken it, and I dont automatically block everything. I need to… "Teach it" how to defend against something.
D-5789: Can you be more specific?
SCP-6347: Well I couldn’t block fire the first time I tried, but about an hour later I tried again and it worked, shield turned red, and the fire "bent" around it, it looks kinda weird.
D-5789: Nothing's normal here… Any idea of who we are? Or have you ever heard about the SCP Foundation?
SCP-6347: That's your name? Sounds like bad Sci-fi… But no, never heard about it, I just saw those things and decided to help. Is everyone ok by the way?
D-5789: I really can’t tell, I don’t know myself. What are your intentions with us?
SCP-6347: I already told you, I wanna help you. I’m guessing a guy who can stop any physical attack must be of some use to you.
D-5789: Yeah, some of those things are quite gnarly… Well that's all I got, so I’m guessing I’m leaving?
Dr. Windsor: Yes… SCP-6347, you will be kept in containment, until your situation can be cleared up, until then you are expected to follow any and all orders from staff, agreed?

Physical and psychological testing reveals no abnormalities with SCP-6347's biology, considered friendly and socially able by psychiatric assessment. Recommended to be allowed social interactions with D-class personnel, including board games and cards as a way to socialize, if kept in solitary containment, the SCP could become less likely to cooperate, or even violent.

Experiment log 6347-1
SCP-6347 and D-class 4378 placed in testing cell with an assortment of firearms and melee weapons. D-4378 instructed to attack SCP-6347, the SCP is instructed to block the attacks with instances of SCP-6347-1.
Result: SCP-6347-1 proven capable of stopping 9mm, .45cal, 50cal, .556, and 306 rounds, SCP-6347-1 color, grey. Flamethrower fire stopped successfully, SCP-6347-1 color, red. Melee weapons stopped successfully, SCP-6347-1 color, grey.
Experiment log 6347-2
SCP-6347 placed in an air-tight, sealed room fitted with nozzles connected to a system providing water, acid, alkaline and a poisonous compound extracted from SCP-682.
SCP-6347 projected SCP-6347-1 entities in contact with the acidic and poisonous compounds, further test proved SCP-6347-1 was able to completely block the compounds from reaching SCP-6347, SCP-6347-1 entities turned green in both cases.
Experiment log 6347-3
SCP-6347 placed in the same chamber as in experiment 6347-2, after clean up, room is filled entirely with water, SCP-6347 remains inside SCP-6347-1 instance, perfectly dry and capable of breathing. SCP-6347 indicates he can change the density of the instance, changing its floating capabilities. Instance of SCP-6347-1 turned a light blue during experiment.
Increases in the pressure of water inside the test chamber as a way to test deep sea conditions resulted in a change in color of SCP-6347-1 to a darker blue, but no damage to it was registered. SCP-6347 shows no signs of exhaustion despite intensive testing.
Experiment log 6347-4
SCP-6347 instructed to project SCP-6347-1 through a piece of wood, a cardboard box, a sheet of 2550 steel and a sheet of titanium alloy.
Results: SCP-6347-1 acted as a "molecular saw" splitting the items cleanly and leaving perfectly smooth and polished edges behind.

Agent Veronica Marston found inside SCP-6347's containment cell in a state of partial undress, sleeping next to the entity. No intercourse occurred according to both interrogation of the agent and the SCP, and medical examinations. Surveillance was turn off during the event, they both testified it was "just a nap".
Resolution: Agent Marston received 2 weeks of leave without pay, and ordered to go through psychological counseling before resuming tasks.
SCP-6347 prohibited from social visits for a two week period.
Update.
Agent Marston reincorporated after the two week period, psychological assessment recommends she to be placed in direct contact and in intimate situations with SCP-6347 to resolve her emotional situation (Agent Marston identified as asexual before interactions with SCP-6347, heterosexual since). Recommendation to initiate a Cognito-Hazardous investigation in regards to SCP-6347's apparent ability to effect those around it and instigating a feeling of "warmth and safety".
Agent Marston allowed in SCP-6347's containment cell for a social visit, security monitoring turned off, agent left three hours later and resumed normal duties the next day, with regular visits to SCP-6347 scheduled for every alternate day afterwards, each clocking in just short of 3 hours. No incidents of any kind since.
Her visits are to be completely intimate, for both of them to be able to develop their own feelings. A relationship between them could be beneficial to the Foundation's efforts in containing SCP-6347, who shows both unquestionable loyalty to the Foundation and a particular devotion towards Agent Marston.

Dr. Rosalyne Smith: Welcome D-5789, please describe your first interaction with SCP-6347 for me.
D-5789: I was terrified of entering the cell Doc, they put us into small rooms with whatever and I don’t feel like dying here… But as soon as I lay eyes on the guy I… I felt fine, like, he’s quite cool and relaxed, easy to talk to. The room was nice and warm; I swear those white walls never looked so good and welcoming.
Dr. Rosalyne Smith: So you enjoyed your interaction with him?
D-5789: Yeah… We D-class do die quite often so… Feeling safe was a nice change of pace.
Dr. Rosalyne Smith: And when you left the room?
D-5789: The guards took me back to my cell in the D-class area… About an hour later I realized my life still sucked.
Dr. Rosalyne Smith: Thank you, that’ll be all.
D-5789: Can I be recommended for further testing with him?
Dr. Rosalyne Smith: I’ll see what can be done.
The previous interview of D-5789 was placed as one example, but all D-class and regular personnel interacting with SCP-6347 present the same symptoms, apparently SCP-6347 instills a feeling of safety in the people surrounding it, possibly as a side effect of his anomalous properties. D-5789 is hereby recommended for relocation, no D-class should be placed in regular contact with SCP-6347, for the possibility that a conflict of interests could be developed as a result of SCP-6347’s desire to protect people, he should often be reminded that D-class are mostly criminals taken from death row.

During a social visit by Agent Marston, SCP-6347 started showing swallowing on its neck and facial region, aswell as in its genital area, and difficulty to breath. SCP-6347 taken to the medical bay for emergency treatment.
Diagnostic: Peanut allergy.
Anti-allergenic provided for treatment of SCP-6347, Agent Marston, and anyone interacting with SCP-6347 should not consume or handle any food containing peanuts for at least 24hs prior to interaction.

Incident log 6347/3, GH-Dead Greenhouse scenario avoided.
On //20— at 0500hs GMT, The Foundation’s O5 Council received an emergency transmission from the GOC command, transcription reads:
To The Foundation leaders, you don’t like us, and we sure as hell don’t like you. We have in the past fought alongside and against each other, but what we found today calls for us to join forces once more before there isn’t anything left for us to fight over. The video embedded in this transmission talks for itself.

The coded and embedded video received shows various cameras on the S.S. Deliverance’s main deck. A large humanoid creature raises from the Ocean in front of the vessel and picks it up from the water. The entity’s face appears similar to an elderly man, but has several coral and other oceanic flora growing on it. It then begins speaking in a language later identified as ancient Greek by Foundation linguists, the transcription of the entity’s speech reads:
“You humans have taken my brethren, have killed my descendants, aswell as my creatures. I shall then take all of you as you have taken all of me. The Oceans will rise, until not a single man remains.”
The video then twists and corrupts as screams are heard along the sound of bending and cracking metal as the ship sinks into the Ocean.
0550hs: Communications established through secure channels with the GOC, entity designated as EOI-53546, as per GOC classification, new information acquired:

Height: 150m above sea-level.
Weight: 700-750Tn estimated.
0600hs: EOI-53546 caused a 1Km tall wave to move towards the eastern coast of Japan, GOC mobilized sonic and traditional explosive weaponry to try to stop the wave, efforts failed, but reduced size considerably, tsunami hits the coast of Japan, causing -- casualties, speculation of the wave’s destructive potential without GOC action estimates the complete destruction of the northern country of Japan. EOI-53546 deemed too dangerous and impossible to contain by Foundation’s assets. SCP-6347 requested by site 95 (Okinawa, Japan) to attempt containment through SCP-6347-1 instances until a better solution can be implemented.
0700hs: SCP-6347 deployed by super-sonic aircraft to the location of EOI-53546. SCP-6347 shows excitement for what he considers to be its “first OP” for The Foundation, personnel discouraged from correcting him. SCP-6347 supplied with a security harness equipped with a shoulder mounted camera, GPS tracking, communications and environmental sensors. Ejected from the aircraft over EOI-53546, swatted out of the air by it. Video feed killed as SCP-6347 is confirmed to fall into the water.
For the following minutes, a coalition of GOC and Foundation vessels are armed and take off towards EOI-53546 in a search and destroy mission. Several countries in the Pacific coast’s armies ready for deployment in case of failure.
0720hs: Satellite imaging shows an apparent explosion on EOI-53546’s coordinates, GOC air-combat squad “Sprinter” informs they can’t see EOI-53546 anywhere, despite coordinates indicating they should be right on top of it. Orders issued by GOC command to reset the global location systems and re-engage satellites. Correct location confirmed, two hundred meters from EOI-53546, no entity visible. Squad commanded to sweep the area and report.
0740hs: Sprinter-6 calls in a “floating egg” approximately 500 meters south of EOI-53546’s previous location.
0800hs: Foundation vessel S.S. Providence approaches the item and crew manages to take it on board. Upon closer examination, the egg-shaped item is identified as a SCP-6347-1 instance, this is the only time a round shape instance has been observed, reclassified as SCP-6347-2. A humanoid is contained within, later confirmed to be SCP-6347.
Through a penetration array, video feed recovered from SCP-6347’s harness shows EOI-53546 surrounded by a SCP-6347-1 instance, cutting EOI-53546 in half, losing what was underwater. The instance then begins compressing with EOI-53546 within attempting to fight its way out. Blood can be seen exiting SCP-6347’s left ear as the camera appears to be crooked inwards. The SCP-6347-1 instance begins glowing as it shrinks faster, until nothing can be seen anymore, a large vacuum explosion ensues and the Geiger counter measures a small amount of gamma radiation. Video feed ends as SCP-6347-2 envelops SCP-6347.
EOI-53546 destruction confirmed. Vessel coalition dissolved and all assets returned to previous owners. The GOC covers all expenses for the operation. Money wired to ghost accounts and slowly absorbed by front companies to avoid tracking. Remains of EOI-53546 are recovered over a 6 month period, taken in for testing, oil spill cover story for the sea and air space blockade deployed.
SCP-6347-2 instance shares the same qualities as its SCP-6347-1 counterparts, as a result it cannot be removed from SCP-6347, wich is confirmed in a coma state. Stationed at site 95. MTF Alpha-3 (“Last Stand”) leader, Special Agent Veronica Marston is to be given updates on SCP-6347’s status at any time they become available.

SCP-6347 awakes 3 weeks after the events of the present incident report. Special Agent Veronica Marston arrives in site 95 hours later, as per orders from the O5 Council. A missive is delivered to SCP-6347, informing him of his new classification as Thaumiel, offered a position in MTF Alpha-3 (“Last Stand”).
Offering accepted on site, SCP-6347 integrated into MTF Alpha-3 “Last Stand”, coded designation SHIELD.

Incident log 6347/4.
On January 2nd, 20—, a caucassian female, approximate age 50 appeared on site 95’s access point 3, located in the back of a fast food restaurant, and allegedly demanded access to SCP-6347, referring to it as her Shield.
Upon receiving the cover story by the cashier of the restaurant, she proceeded to execute several covert agents and civilians in the restaurant with what appeared to be a medieval sword in security recordings. MTF Gamma-17 (“Home Breakers”) mobilized to intercept, the entity abandoned the premises, leaving behind a letter addressed to the real name of SCP-6347. Transcription follows.
“[REDACTED], My dearest Shield.
You may think to have escaped me, and have a right to live on your own, but never forget, you are but a tool to be handled. If this “Foundation” continues to keep you hidden, and using you as if they had my right to do so, then I will have to keep tormenting them until they return you. Our King awaits, and your brother misses you.

SCP-6347 has not yet been briefed, or interrogated regarding this incident. Actions are currently under O5 consideration. Site 95’s access point 3 was detonated in a simulated gas explosion as a cover story, amnestics administered as needed to silence witnesses, and to Foundation personnel that became aware of SCP-6347’s true identity. Alpha-3 relocated to rural England, site [REDACTED] until further investigation.
