Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard, soundproofed, steel safe. While inside the safe, SCP-XXXX is to be covered with a black towel for ease of transport. The safe door is to be fitted with a biometric lock. Access to this containment unit require a level 4 security clearance or higher. Anyone who accesses SCP-XXXX must do so under the escort of a site security officer with level 4 security clearance or higher. The escorting security officer is required to carry military-grade noise cancellation ear protection, military-grade eye protection (specifically protection from flashbang grenades), a stun baton, zip ties, at least three flashbang grenades, and at least three Class-A Amnestic applicators at all times.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a .15 meter tall, reality bending, antique porcelain Santa Claus figurine. When a person is in direct line of sight of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX's "mouth" will animate, while the rest of the figurine remains unchanged. It speaks to the person who looks at it in a deep voice at 33 dB, just louder than a whisper, and says "Come sit on my lap". If the person is capable of hearing at the time of viewing SCP-XXXX, they will be compelled to approach SCP-XXXX and sit as close as they can to it. While sitting, the effected person will stare unwaveringly at it while it begins to ask them a single question. It addresses a person using that person's real name by asking, "What do you want most, (name)?". How SCP-XXXX knows the names of people it communicates with is still unknown. They begin to divulge to SCP-XXXX what they want most. If anyone is observing this process but was not addressed by SCP-XXXX, they will be unable to understand what the person speaking to SCP-XXXX is saying. After the person has finished responding to SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX will react one of three ways; the first response consists of SCP-XXXX forming it's "mouth" into a smile, and proceeding to audibly respond to the person. If observed directly the observer will not be able to understand what SCP-XXXX says.
