Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: The house that SCP-X is in is to be guarded by a full security detail, access to the building requires level 3 or above security clearance. Description: SCP-X was discovered by a member of MTF Iota-5 in ████, Pennsylvania when they overheard a rumor about a house on the hill that may exhibit anomalous properties. Such rumors would mostly be discarded as no more than urban legends but with the recent numorous missing persons cases propping up at the location, further investigation was required.

SCP-X is a 12 x 16 x 8 room located inside the house on the hill overseeing the town. The room when observed from the outside is decorated in a Gothic manner with filled bookshelves lining up the walls and a 9 x 12 carpet on the floor. The centerpiece of the room is an ornate desk and chair facing the entrance. A book, quill, and a jar of ink sit on top of the desk.

When a humanoid entity enters a room, the quill would animate itself, the book would open, and start writing. The room would start to shift, the furniture and decorations would sink into the walls, giving way to landscapes and scenery looked to be the favored fictional world of the one that entered the room.
