Special Containment Procedures: SCP - 5356 is currently uncontained, however, instances of SCP - 5356 - 1 should be reported immediately to the nearest personnel. Description: SCP - 5356 is a caucasian male of Ukrainian Jewish descent, standing at approximately 1.24 meters tall and weighing 76 kg. (This information was acquired prior to Site - [REDACTED] breach on [REDACTED]-2004. SCP - 5356 seems to age at a normal rate and shows no physical anomalous properties upon examination. However, SCP - 5356 is a Class - A Cognitohazard with brain capacity altering abilities. As a human is exposed to SCP - 5356, their brain manages to lose a significant amount of stem cells and brain capacity. After [REDACTED] hours any human who is communicating or in contact with SCP - 5356 will begin to lose fine motor functions and fail to think coherently. After [REDACTED] hours of continuous total contact with SCP - 5356 will cease all regular brain functions as their brain's stem cell count manages to drop to zero. This does not physically alter the brain or skull of affected persons and it is not understood how the matter of the stem cells is removed. MRI scans and CAT scans will show complete loss of brain activity and the target will be considered brain dead. At this point, the target will become an instance of SCP - 5356 - 1.

SCP - 5356 also has the ability to draw energy from nonsensical or confusing content. This includes but is not limited to: Videos, images, gifs, text, etc.
When SCP - 5356 observes this content, the rate of stem cell loss is increased on current targets, and a radius of SCP - 5356 is increased. If the content is orally described to SCP - 5356, these effects are greatly diminished. When this content is shared with others by SCP - 5356, they have a higher chance of being targeted depending if they have a positive reaction and if so, they will also have an increased stem cell loss rate.

Addendum SCP - 5356 - 1:

An instance of SCP - 5356 - 1 will function exactly as how the original SCP - 5356 would function in any situation. The brain of an SCP - 5356 - 1 instance will show an exact DNA match to SCP - 5356 and will not show any learning or growth other than from what SCP - 5356 experiences. SCP - 5356 - 1 will be mentally connected to SCP - 5356 at all times and will know exactly what they are experiencing and will attempt to mimic the same response.

The various actions of SCP - 5356 - 1 include random screeching and or yelling. Nonsensical noises that do not pertain to any particular subject. Overreaction or an increased volume when experiencing any sensation. Searching online for content that is deemed nonsensical or confusing. Once the desired content is found, its "energy" will be transferred to SCP - 5356.

There does not seem to be a limit on how many instances of SCP - 5356 - 1 can be created by SCP - 5356, however, the foundation has [REDACTED] amount of reported cases. This will test if SCP - 5356 - 1 will be able to detect artificially created content targeted at them or a real form of the internet.

Result: SCP - 5356 - 1A first attempted to access the decoy content but immediately stopped and clicked away. SCP - 5356 - 1 can detect decoy content.

Note: Other instances of SCP - 5356 - 1 also no longer responded to fake content.

Test Log SCP - 5356 B:

Test Description: An instance of SCP - 5356 - 1 (SCP - 5356 - 1B) is given a 12" record, a Compact Cassette, and a VCR Cassette (It also received the machinery to play these formats). All formats contained a recording of a previously observed content already approved by SCP - 5356 - 1 instances.
This test is to determine if SCP - 5356 - 1 can derive any energy from older forms of content from before SCP - 5356 was born or was aware about.

Result: SCP - 5356 - 1B was able to successfully implement all forms of content after only [REDACTED] minutes. Other instances of SCP - 5356 - 1 were now also able to use these formats without hesitation.
