A picture of SCP-X found on her smartphone
Item #: SCP-X
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
Description: SCP-X is a female Caucasian teenager between 17 and 19 years of age, 160.8 centimeters tall, named Tiffany. SCP-X is capable of turning other people into physical copies of herself. This effect is referred to as SCP-X-1, or "the Virus". People that have been infected with SCP-X-1 are referred to collectively as SCP-X-2, or "the Infected." Instances of SCP-X-2 are also capable of spreading SCP-X-1 through skin contact.
SCP-X has shown a strong fear of the Infected. She is friendly with Foundation personnel, and expresses gratitude for separating her from them and giving her a place to live. The Infected are verbally hostile towards Foundation personnel, but can be made to cooperate if given pictures of SCP-X, pink markers, or a chance to communicate with SCP-X. They are obsessed with SCP-X and try to protect her at all costs.
After the victim makes skin contact with a carrier of SCP-X-1, nothing happens right away. Changes seem to take effect overnight, while the victim is asleep.
Night 1: No outward changes, but the victim starts to think about SCP-X.
Night 2: The victim will begin to speak more like SCP-X.
Night 3: The victim actively seeks out SCP-X and becomes protective of her.
Night 4: If the victim is female, conversion is complete. If the victim is male, then the body becomes almost indistinguishable from a female body. Male genitals are still intact.
Night 5: The genitals transform from male to female. If possible, at least one instance of SCP-X-2 will watch over the victim while he is asleep to make sure that he is not woken up. If he is, the process causes intense pain.
████ was a small town in ████ that had been completely wiped out by the Virus. Field Agent ████ discovered the town and called in reinforcements to secure it. All of the Infected were contained and the entire town was burned to the ground. Locals were told that the fire was set by an arsonist and that there were no survivors. By interrogating the infected and deploying agents, the Foundation was able to track down and secure SCP-X and a small team of Infected that were following her.

<Begin Log>
Researcher Mary: Please state your name for the record.
SCP-X: Tiffany.
Researcher Mary: Tiffany what?
SCP-X: I don't know, I can't remember.
Researcher Mary: What can you remember?
SCP-X: I remember everything since I woke up at the town clearly. But everything before that is blurry.
Researcher Mary: What do you remember from before the town?
SCP-X: I just remember the faces of some of my friends. And my parent's house.
Researcher Mary: Any names?
SCP-X: No.
Researcher Mary: Addresses?
SCP-X: No. Wait, I was in Michigan!
Researcher Mary: What part?
SCP-X: I don't know.
Researcher Mary: What do you remember about your parent's house?
SCP-X: *Pauses for about 5 seconds*
SCP-X: Please stop asking me questions about what happened before the town.
Researcher Mary: Why?
SCP-X: The memories get less clear every time I think about them.
Researcher Mary: We need answers to help you.
(SCP-X covered its face in its hands and began shaking.)
Researcher Mary: Tiffany?
SCP-X: I miss my friends!
<End Log>
Closing Statement: SCP-X began crying hysterically for approximately 5 minutes. Lighter crying continued for 20 minutes. SCP-X ignored its dinner and went to sleep.
Interviewed: SCP-X
Interviewer: Doctor Mark
Foreword: [A check in with SCP-X after it complained about being lonely.]
<Begin Log>
Doctor Mark: How are you today?
SCP-X: There's something I can't stop thinking about.
Doctor Mark: What is it?
SCP-X: Ryan.
Doctor Mark: Who is he?
SCP-X: *Pauses for approximately 3 seconds.*
SCP-X: Were any bodies found at ████?
Doctor Mark: No.
SCP-X: Oh my God.
SCP-X: *Chokes up.*
Doctor Mark: What?
SCP-X: You need to send people there to look. They must've buried him, or something.
Doctor Mark: They buried Ryan? How did he die?
(SCP-X started shaking.)
SCP-X: They fucking killed him! All he did was throw a rock at me and they beat him to death!
Doctor Mark: The Infected?
SCP-X: YES!
Doctor Mark: Do you know where he might be?
SCP-X: Why?
Doctor Mark: Why what?
SCP-X: I feel sick.

Interviewed: Field Agent ████
Interviewer: Researcher Blake>
Foreword: [Field Agent ████ was interviewed to obtain information regarding SCP-X-2.]
<Begin Log>
Researcher Blake: What happened at the town?
Field Agent ████: I was driving through to stop for gas, and I saw a blonde girl. And then I saw her again, and again, and again. I turned the corner and I kept seeing her. I saw her jogging, taking a walk, sitting on a bench, driving, sitting with a dog, it goes on. Then I stopped at a gas station and I noticed some of them coming towards me. About 7 of them. Too many for comfort. I got back in the car and sped away. That's when I called for reinforcements. After that… Well, I'm lucky I was wearing a long sleeve shirt.
Researcher Blake: Did you see anything else?
Field Agent ████: Yeah. After everything was secured, I looked around inside some houses. I saw drawings lying all over the place. They were made in pink, and they all looked like Tiffany. But here's the thing; they were all GOOD drawings. I doubt that everyone in that town was that good at art. But it was way too many drawings for just one person.
Researcher Blake: We have them.
Field Agent ████: What about Tiffany? How is she?
Researcher Blake: She's fine.
Field Agent ████: If I woke up in the middle of nowhere with almost no memories, moved into a town, watched everyone slowly become copies of myself, and then got scooped up by a massive, secret agency, I don't think that I would be "fine." Have you figured out where she's from, exactly? So we can bring her back home?
Researcher Blake: She can't go home until we understand her.
Field Agent ████: So she can never go home.
Researcher Blake: I didn't say that.
Field Agent ████: If we could understand her, she wouldn't be here.
Researcher Blake: It's more complicated than that.
Field Agent ████: Yeah, whatever.
Researcher Blake: Did you see anything else?
Field Agent ████: Yeah.
Researcher Blake: What?
Field Agent ████: Tears in her eyes.

Interviewed: Instance of SCP-X-2
Interviewer: Researcher Blake>
Foreword: [An instance of SCP-X-2 was interviewed to better understand the effects of SCP-X-1.]
<Begin Log>
Researcher Blake: Do you remember your transformation?
Infected: Yeah. Every last detail. Every feeling and thought.
Researcher Blake: Run me through it.
Infected: I was one of the last people to be converted. I was hiding in the trees because I was afraid. It was cold. I decided to run away from the town, so I turned around, and the Leader was right behind me.
Researcher Blake: The Leader?
Infected: The first person God touched. We all follow her orders.
Researcher Blake: Go on.
Infected: I had never been so scared in my life. I breathed in to start screaming, but before I could, the Leader put her hand on my face. And this incredible warmth spread through my body, starting from where she touched me and shooting down all the way to my toes. I went from paralyzing fear to heaven in two seconds. It felt better than anything else I had ever felt. I feel that warmth every time I see her.
Researcher Blake: What happened after?
Infected: After that, I started hanging out with the others. I began to see them as my sisters. I had found family, love and fulfillment. I And over the course of the next week, I started transforming.
Researcher Blake: How did it feel?
Infected: It felt right. It happened in my sleep. Every time I woke up, I would look in the mirror to see what changed. For the first four nights, I was happier than I had ever been. But the fifth night was different.
Researcher Blake: Different how?
Infected: I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of thunder. Almost as quickly as I had woken up, I started feeling intense pain in my genitals.
Researcher Blake: Did you see anything else?
Field Agent ████: Yeah.
Researcher Blake: What?
Field Agent ████: Tears in her eyes.

Document #X-1:
THE CULT OF THE INFECTED
The Infected formed a cult around SCP-X when they were at the town. It is unknown whether this is a part of SCP-X's anomalous effect or just a natural reaction. Individual members are described as having "faint traces" of their previous personalities. They do not remember their past lives accurately. Members of the cult obey senior members first and the law second. The chain of command is decided by seniority; the first person infected by Tiffany is the leader (highest rank) and the last person is an acolyte (lowest rank.) The cult has only one goal; The protection of SCP-X.
They want to protect her, but they do not do what she tells them to do. SCP-X wanted them to let her leave the town, but they wouldn't. SCP-X also wanted them to spare Ryan, but they didn't because they saw him as a threat to her. In other words, her safety is more important to the cult than what she wants.
The moral beliefs of the cult members are completely different from that of regular society. They now see SCP-X as God. Anything that is a threat to SCP-X is morally bad, anything that protects SCP-X is morally good. This is their only standard for measuring the morality of anything.
