Special Containment Procedures:
Due to humanity's dependance of its existence and ethical questions over its removal SCP-XXXX cannot/should not be contained. Any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 that are identified as such are to be monitored and protected by Foundation opperatives under the guise of local law enforcement or forrest rangers. If any GoI is to come into contact/possesion of SCP-XXXX they are to be heavily monitored for their use of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-1, and if problematic behavior is observed actions should be taken as to reposes SCP-XXXX-1. Burning of SCP-XXXX-1 is expressely forbidden aside from controlled testing, requestd for burning SCP-XXXX-1 in experiments require a Level 3 or higher approval, any personnel caught in violation will face a disciplinary and possibly termination.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a tree of the (Pinus) Pine Tree family. It appears as an ordinary Pine Tree with no apparent diffrences between it and its non-anomalous counterpart.

Its anomalous properties only occur once every year when during the transition between winter and spring SCP-XXXX-1 will release a chemical substance of unknown make up and composition. hitherto reffered to as SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 releases SCP-XXXX-2 in multiple diffrent ways: As a spore like substance which falls from it's leaves and like a bacteria which ooze from its bark.

SCP-XXXX-2's anomalous properties only display themselves when SCP-XXXX-2 enters the system of any primate, more specifically humans. When having entered the system of a primate
SCP-XXXX-2 will begin to perform changes on the physiology of those effected.¹ within 5 hours of exposure to SCP-XXXX-2 subjects will experiense an expansion in size of their neocortex² and increased activity in the right side of their brain.³ Subjects will display an increased memory capacity and will score higher on any tests designed for measuring intelligence. Subjects will also become "more creative/inventive", often coseptualizing new ways to better whatever field of art, science or craft they are most active in⁴ (See Experiment Logs:XXXX-Alpha-1 through 3.) The effects of SCP-XXXX-2 can also be imporved by burning any part of SCP-XXXX-1 and inhailing the smoke, causing a much more rapid and pronounced development of the above descibed effects. In doing so however this also leads to increased violent behaviour in subjects, with them often developing short tempers and violent mood swings, hightened libido, agressive and on occasion even homicidal tendencies within half the usual time it takes for the standard effect to take place. Subjects exposed to the smoke of SCP-XXXX-2 are aproximately 93% more likely to commit assault, 68% more likely to commit rape and 51% more likely to commit homicide than the average person.

Discovery: While there have been theories about a possible SCP in the same manner as SCP-XXXX, it was not untill 2009 that it's existence was finally been confirmed
