Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
2kms surrounding area around SCP-XXXX have been deemed a toxic storage area. Chain Link Fences with barbed wire had been placed around the border of the 2km area. Any Civilians entering the perimeter are to be intercepted and turned away. Only personnel specializing in Astronomy & Xenobiology and class-D Personnel should be allow on site.

In the center of this area is a two story windowless cement building. This building is where SCP-XXXX is stored. SCP-XXXX gives off radio waves, low level emp, and radiation all within safe levels. All signals should be monitored. The walls of the building are built to block any stray signals from exiting or entering the site.

The building inside is open with no rooms except for a small office for the head of the site and a large viewing area with many night vision cameras to monitor SCP-XXXX. Catwalks have been place over SCP-XXXX to aid in studying it.

SCP-XXXX should not be exposed to sunlight or lights exceeding a 20 watt bulb. If exposed to brighter light SCP-XXXX will start to burn up. If returned to darkness it will regenerate. It is unclear if the map will regenerate if the whole map was allowed to burn away. As such no lights are allowed in the building. All light experiments are deemed off limit.

All personnel are required to wear night vision glasses.

Description:
SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX is a detailed map of the Milky Way. First discovered in 1936 in a wheat field in Nebraska by [REDACTED] the owner of the farm. We were able to contain the object before news spread. We bought the land and the object off the farmer and set him up for life to keep his silence.

This map hovers a two meters off the ground. Moving the map has been fruitless as the whole map is intangible. After send D-Rank personnel through the disk with no ill effects we deemed to SCP-XXXX harmless.

SCP-XXXX-A
Discovered in 1956 by chance. SCP-XXXX-A appears to be a large extraterrestrial civilization based around the core of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-A use massive ships that can move near the speed of light. It is unknown if SCP-XXXX-A is friendly or hostile.

SCP-XXXX-B
In the study of SCP-XXXX Dr. [REDACTED] discovered what appears to be a massive space fairing life form. Discovered in 1969. This creature labeled SCP-XXXX-B is a serpent like creature, it’s size is estimated to be 6,000,000km if scaled up. First discovered when Dr. [REDACTED] was studying a imploding star. Dr. [REDACTED] discovered that SCP-XXXX-B was the reason for the Imploding. In the following Years Dr. [REDACTED] study and followed this creatures movements, discovering that it feeds off stars until they Implode in on themselves.

Log 1:
May 1, 1972 an interesting situation has developed. SCP-XXXX-B has changed direction and has started to head in the direction of space controlled by SCP-XXXX-A. The reason for this is unknown. If SCP-XXXX-B continues at its current speed it will reach the borders of SCP-XXXX-A within two years.

Log 2:
June 16, 1974 SCP-XXXX-B reach the borders of SCP-XXXX-A. The SCP-XXXX-B head for the nearest star and started to feed. SCP-XXXX-A responded with sending ships. While SCP-XXXX-A ships are huge they are dwarfed by SCP-XXXX-B. SCP-XXXX-B responded to the ship by attacking them. The Battle last less then 15 minutes, recording of the battle have been filed and place in the record vault. After the battle SCP-XXXX-B return to feeding until the star Imploded. The feeding last 36 hours. After the feeding SCP-XXXX-B seem to go dormant.

Log 3:
July 1, 1974 SCP-XXXX-B has started moving again heading for another star. SCP-XXXX-A has built up it's forces between SCP-XXXX-B and the star. The SCP-XXXX-A force is three times larger then the first force the engaged SCP-XXXX-B.

Log 4:
July 3, 1974 SCP-XXXX-B meets the forces of SCP-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX-B ignored the forces SCP-XXXX-A ramming through and continued on. SCP-XXXX-B continued on to the Star System with SCP-XXXX-A chasing after it. It was only when SCP-XXXX-B was in the star system did it turn to fight SCP-XXXX-A forces. The battle lasted an hour with SCP-XXXX-B winning. After the battle SCP-XXXX-B begin to feed on the star. After Feeding SCP-XXXX-B went dormant. Recording of the battle have been sent to vault.

Log 5:
September 16, 1974 SCP-XXXX-B has imploded most stars with in the boarders of SCP-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX-A has vanished form the map. We can not longer detect their ships. SCP-XXXX-B has seem to wiped out.

Log 6:
May 24, 1982 We have discover a small fleet of SCP-XXXX-A has been discovered fleeing from the former empire. The dozen SCP-XXXX-A ships are heading in the direction of the Sol System. Estimated Time of Arrival will be 2075.
