Description: The entity is 0.7 meters in length. It is blind, with pure black eye. It can hear the heartbeat of every living creature in a 2 mile radius. It is usually invisible, and can not attack while invisible. If the entity enters a doorway, it will become visible, and anything that makes eye contact with it will become paralyzed. When it's prey is paralyzed, the entity will enter the body of the prey and eat the muscles on the inside. It can not become invisible until it enters another doorway.
Multiple Witnesses have confirmed that SCP-5083 is usually found in the town of [DATA EXPUNGED], but can be found neighboring towns as well. Though unconfirmed yet, the entity seems to only be able to appear on the 1st floor of buildings, for it is always seen in the doorways on the 1st floor.
While dangerous, the entity can not attack multiple targets at once. It can paralyze multiple people (Max of 5), but only can kill one after becoming visible. This info was discovered in a hospital in [DATA EXPUNGED] when the entity killed a doctor in the main lobby with around 30 people in the same room watching.
Two Squads of D-Class Personnel was sent to investigate a one story house that was reported as slightly haunted. Squad A was attacked in the kitchen after an hour of them entering the house. Jeremy ██████ was killed by SCP-5083 during the attack. Both Squads were forced to retreat to obtain better equipment. All Members of Squad A abandoned the Mission due to the traumatic attack.
Multiple Test were conducted for finding a weakness to SCP-5083. The Few Tests that were successful were the following: Closing Doors, Blindfolds, UV Light, and Mirrors. SCP-5083 can only become visible in doorways, so keeping doors closed as much as possible will stop it from attacking. Direct Eye Contact is required for it to paralyze its prey, so blindfolds prevents it from making eye contact. Mirrors are the most effective so far. The Entity's Paralyzing stare can work on itself, keeping a mirror in front of it will prevent the entity from being able to attack. The last option is Ultraviolet Light. Thermal Scanners do not work on the entity regardless of visibility, but UV Light will make SCP-5083 visible. Combining UV Light and Mirrors is extremely effective.
Addendum: SCP-5083 Was Captured on May 15, 19██. Due to extreme amounts of dust on the mirrors in SCP-5083 room, SCP-5083 Escaped the facility on October 2, 20██, and has not been recaptured.
