Totally not O5-█'s cat

Drafts, works in progress, etc. of in over his head Researcher//real life constant panic attack victim Oakley dude. I wrote this page as a placeholder for a few ideas in literally 5(a long time but I'm lazy) minutes, will be updated (properly) soon!

  • Send Admiral Archer's beagle into hyperspace

  • Learn to do image captioning and fix that cat
  • Play with formatting1 here
  • Begin drafts. Idea - can put these in collapsible blocks to condense pages in the (likely) even this page ends up cluttered with multiple works in progress
  • This presents an issue in directing critique-givers to the correct page for any given article. Must figure out a solution to this
  • Also note to self - I intensely dislike working in that format so I might just create 2 new pages, one for SCP drafts and another for reports/tales and link them here - maybe to the subtitles themselves? Also, maybe keep the collapse boxes for coming up with ideas

Ideas/Goals to expand on later

  • Maybe try a reboot of Foundation R&D Department? Can try to fit this into Resurrection line, OR as standalone tales. Should draft, present to Resurrection authors, etc.
  • Something/group that plays off of people's desire to be part of something greater than themselves. This can reflect politics of today, can reflect the desire of authors to write for the Foundation if we want to get meta. Specifically - the narrative should tackle the idea of people putting aside morals, knowingly and willingly, to be included.
  • Ideas which trap you in forms of idealism? Not sure where to take this - relation to memetics, and possibly antimemetics, but want to play with ideas of delusion, the thought of ideas without action.
  • Idea of being forgotten. THIS HAS BEEN DONE, should determine a unique spin on representing this in narrative format.
  • Maybe can play around with basing stories or related log content on emotions evoked by a song? Also seen this - see the "Like Clockwork" hub (I think) but there's definitely unique spins that could be taken

  • Upside-down Man (Write a Unusual Incident Report to start this, detailing the flipped hospital. Give a character arc, leaving SCP in position of minor records keeping)
  • The Winding Clock; can cause temporal anomalies if runs out, but causes organ inversion when wound
