Special Containement procedures:
SCP XXXX is to be kept in a 6 by 6 by 4 meters cell made out of concrete and reinforced stell.
Survelliance is to be kept inside and outside the cell, no less than 2 guards must guard the entrance to the cell of SCP XXXX, contact with the object must be only for testing that has to be allowed by level 4 or higher personell. A bulletproof, observation glass has been installed in the cell after Incident XXXX-A-1, and no less than 1 (one) Foundation personnel are to be present in the observation room.
Description: SCP XXXX is a mirror, 2 meters in lenght and 80 centimetres wide, placed in a decored frame made out of common wood.
SCP XXXX doesn't display any anomalous properties until it has been activated SCP XXXX will manifest its anomalous properties when broken by any direct or indirect action.
When SCP XXXX get destroyed by a sentient and conscious being (from now on indicated as SCP XXXX-1), the shattered glass will start to vibrate and float in the air, spinning and creating a little vortex of shattered glass.
The vortex of glass will create more glass shards, and the total amount of mass and volume of the vortex will slightly increase before starting to collapse, forming a figure that will assume the approximative appearance of SCP XXXX-1. The entity that come out of this process, will then try to engage a fight against SCP XXXX-1.The fight c̶a̶n̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶a̶v̶o̶i̶d̶e̶d̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶ ̶me̶a̶n̶s̶ cannot be hampered by any solid material, as SCP XXXX will modify its limbs or body to create a vortex of sharp glass that rotate fast enough to produce heat up to ████°C and eventually melt or break the obstacle; this process doesn't apparently cause any discomfort in SCP XXXX, as it's capable of creating glass to regenerate himself. The fight between SCP XXXX and SCP XXXX-1 will cease only in one of these 2 (two) factors occur:
SCP XXXX will successfully kill SCP
XXXX-1 through physical trauma.
SCP XXXX-1 will have a
psychological crisis, that will occur
after aproximately 15 minutes from
the start of the fight (this
phenomenon occurred in 100% of
the cases, before SCP XXXX-1 was
both killed, or survived the
combat, because of this, it is ̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶
t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶ SCP XXXX has cognitohazard
properties).
The crisis will result in a strong
depression attack, panic,
schizophrenia, crying and screams,
that will last for the hole lifespan of
the subject. Even though these
symptoms will get weaker over time,
they will never fade away, and will
rapidly intensifies when the subject
is in contact with a mirror, or any
other object capable of reflecting its
own image (psychological
treatments has proven ineffective).
When this case occurr, SCP XXXX
will stop to give attention to SCP
XXXX-1 and return to its wooden frame.
SCP XXXX-1 will have psychological
crisis, that result in an increase of
anger and aggression, or the total
change in the subject mood, from
fearing SCP XXXX and sufferin from
pain caused by the fight, to a
completely calm and focused mood
(in these cases, the subject will
often express a smile of security). From now on, the subject previously referred as SCP XXXX-1 will be identified as SCP XXXX-2.
SCP XXXX will stand still, waiting for
its opponent to attack, this is the
only case where the object will give
to his opponent the first move. SCP
XXXX-2 will then attack SCP XXXX,
the strenght at which it attacks
stronger than averange, punches of
SCP XXXX-2 in this state are capable
of breaking SCP XXXX body, even
though it's made out of sharp, solid
glass shards. SCP XXXX-2 seems to
enjoy the fight, even though
numerous physical trauma are made
to the body during the fight. If SCP
XXXX-2 is able to win the fight by
breaking the "neck" or the chest of
SCP XXXX, SCP XXXX will cease to
be active and lies on the floor for a
few minutes, before recomposing
and returning to its frame.
Wounds sustained during the fight, if not lethal, will be rinsaned in a few weeks with appropriate treatment; broken bones, muscles and non-vital organs will regenerate, how this anomalous regeneration works is not yet fully understood, but post-fight analisis on SCP XXXX-2, have revealed an intense brain and pitutary activity, high levels of dopamine, and painkiller agents, the latter will fade shortly after the encounter with SCP XXXX. SCP XXXX-2 psychological profile will radically change:
The subject's previous phobias, traumas, psychotic behaviour and other negative mental condition will be complitely vanished. SCP XXXX-2 has achived high levels on the CRV tests, futher experiments eith SCP XXXX-2 observed that the subject is able, in a few cases, to resist or be complitely resilent to certain cognitohazard, infohazard, and memetic agents. This ability is not an immunity to the agent, and resulted in the death of SCP XXXX-2 in approximately 86% during test with medium-powerful mind affecting anomalies.
The following is an interview between Dr.████, an employee of the Foundation with experience regarding SCP capable of manifesting psycho-altering properties in subjects, and the first person to survive the encounter with SCP XXXX, D-11234:

Dr.████: Hello D-11234. May I ask some questions about your last test?
D-11234: Sure doctor, go ahead.
Dr.████: Can you explain your violent reaction during the test with SCP XXXX? Was it because the pain and survival instinct?
D-11234: Well… you can say that it was because I
wanted to live… but at the same time I didn't care about
dying, it was a strange feeling that grew in me right after that thing turned his edgy, angular head on me.
Dr.████: Could you please elaborate? How would you describe that feeling?
D-11234: [D-11234 hesitates for a few seconds] It was… It was something that I kept inside of him for a long time, and now I know for sure what it was, it was hurting me, but each time that the glassman hit me with his punches, breaking by bones and making me bleed with those sharp mirror shards that were coming out of its body, that feeling kept getting bigger and bigger… I don't really know how to explain it, it was like thousands of volcanoes were erupting fire inside of me, I was burning inside but at the same time, I felt powerful, I felt the rage, and I didn't really feared death because I was already in hell.
Uhh…This doesn't really look like an answer but… that's how I felt, I also cried a little while that thing was punching me in the face
Dr.████: Your emotional response is what actually interest us, so tell me what happened after you felt those…"volcanoes erupting".
D-11234: Well uhh… As I said, I felt the rage, I felt all the embarassing, the bad moments of my hole life coming all at once in my mind, let's say that when I was looking at the glassman, I saw the worse copy of myself, everything that I didn't become in the past, totally different from me but it was ME at the same time! I started to feel all my sins inside of me, like burns inside my head, I started to cry and ask for forgiveness to myself… hoping to die eventually.
Dr.████: And then what happened?
D-11234: I just said "no" to all that crap, I clenched my fists and thighten my theet,at one point… I just started looking to all that pain and regret from another point of view, an external one we can say, and I asked myself "does it actually matter?"… When I looked at the glassman again, and saw the monster that was trying to kill me with a bad copy of my face, a ME that was tempting the bastard that now sits in front of you with the mistakes that I did in my life… I just decided to stand up and fight back, kill the freak that was hurting my soul since I realized I had one! And each punch! Each kick! It felt so good to me… I didn't felt the pain or the broken bones, the warm blood in my mouth and on my knuckles felt so warm and full of rage. I didn't even care that the thing that I was punching was made out of edgy glass shards… I punched the out of him, and it felt so good in the end.
Dr.████: I see, D-11234. One last thing, you said that it was like he was killing you with the sins and the regrets of your life, and that each time you looked at its face, it looked like a bad version of you, so… do you think that these factors were the ones that provoked the anomalous phenomena in your body?
D-11234: I don't really know, doctor. But I have a much clever mind now, that's for sure, it was like I washed myself from all the bad feelings that I had in my mind, and I'm not afraid of the pain anymore because I know that I can fight against
everything, wounds are just a postponement for the battle, they won't stop me for long. I just feel…better, confident you can say.
Dr. ████: Thank you for your cooperation, we will meet again for other tests. Until then, our interview is terminated

Note from Dr.████: It seems like SCP XXXX is capable of causing some sort of shock therapy through the memories of SCP XXXX-1, the result of this effect will change from person to person and while many will die in the encounter, by suicide or contract various psychological diseases that will last for the whole lifespan. But in extrimely rare cases, SCP XXXX-1 will be able to resist and fight back against the cognitohazard effect, this would explain why the subjects with an high CRV are more inclined to become SCP XXXX-2. The anomalous regeneration and the increase in the strenght of the subject origins are as of yet not fully understood, but following our researches, it appears that they came from the brain itself.
Incident SCP XXXX-A-1
SCP XXXX spontaneously activated in its containement
chamber at 2:34 AM of ██/██/19██. Upon
activation, SCP XXXX took the form of a humanoid being 3 meters tall, with 4 rigid appendages at the place of the arms. SCP XXXX then proceded to escape containement by creating a hole in its cell using one of its arts to [REDACTED], SCP XXXX walked aimlessly through the facility, the areas where SCP XXXX was direct were evacuated rapidly, guards were unable to stop the entity as it was resilent to conventional fireweapons, leading to 3 (tree) casualities and 4 (four) injured. SCP XXXX was able to escape from the facility at █:12 AM, when the entity breached the perimetral wall of the facility. Upon exiting, SCP XXXX changed shape of its body into an amorphous mass of crystals, while mantaining the 4 appendages floating on the vortex of glass along with its head. SCP XXXX then proceded to slowly lift itself from the ground, and fly towards the sky (this behaviour, along with the means used to fly, have never been replicated during futher testing; after this event, the Class of SCP XXXX changed to "Euclid", establishing that the object is sentient). At roughly █ km from the ground, SCP XXXX was struck by an undetermined number of lightnings, falling to the ground as a molten mass of glass after █.43 minutes in free falling. SCP XXXX was recontained and reaquired its original hexagonal shape after 8 hours. After this event, SCP XXXX showed very little signs of awareness and response to external stimuli (such as touching). Testing to estamblish a conversation with SCP XXXX i̶s̶ ̶c̶u̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶l̶y̶ ̶o̶n̶g̶o̶i̶n̶g̶.
Addendum:
Following the events of Incident SCP XXXX-A-1, new tests revealed that SCP XXXX is capable of thoughts, and multiple challanging methods for SCP XXXX-1.
Test SCP XXXX-4 :
D-36145 is a male human of average physycal build and a clean psychological profile, except for a childhood trauma that led him to a second grade murder. D-36145 was released in the containement chamber of SCP XXXX with 2 (two) chairs, a table and checkers. The test is under the supervision of Dr.███████.
D-36145:Uhh?… what's this?
Dr.███████: Please, break the mirror with a kick
D-36145 breaks SCP XXXX, aproximately after 3 seconds, SCP XXXX's parts begin to move and form a humanoid statue of shattered glass, with a face that resemble the one of D-36145.
D-36145: What the fuck?! Doc! What's this crap?!
Dr.███████: D-36145, please calm down and take a seat, don't do anything to physically arm SCP XXXX.
D-36145: What do you mean? Ah fine, I… I just want to get out alive…
Dr.███████: Please, sit down and wait for instructio-
SCP XXXX walks closer to D-36145 and the table, and stops behind the chair facing D-36145. SCP XXXX turn its head to look around the chamber, after performing a complete turn of 360°, it stares down to the table with the checkers, and sits down without attacking D-36145
D-36145: [exales] And now? Do I have to play with this edgy guy?
Dr.███████: Affermative. Please, start the game.
D-36145 start the game. SCP XXXX moves another pawn. After 2 minutes and 35 seconds, D-36145 shows the symptoms of the anomalous effects of SCP XXXX. D-36145 is visibly frustrated, his face has begun to blush because of the high blood pressure. Tears and nervous attitude started after 9 minutes from the beginning of the test. The game ended after 14 minutes and 42 seconds from the beginning of the test, when D-36145 hit the table and, after getting up suddenly, threw his chair on the observation glass. D-36145 started to cry and scream for a few seconds, then sat down in a corner of the cell with his arms on the knees, covering its face. SCP XXXX did not react in any way during the neurosis of D-36145, but simply "stared" at D-36145 by following his movements with the head. After 16 minutes and 12 seconds, SCP XXXX broke "eye contact" with D-36145, after staring at the wall for 3 seconds, shattered itself into pieces, then proceded to move in an amorphous state to the frame and recomposed itself in it.
- Note from Dr.███████: Thanks to this test, we are now certain that SCP XXXX displays cognitohazardous effects. The fact that SCP XXXX is able to think and act in an autonomous way, and play a game without imitating the action of the challanger (despite what we predicted), show that it's fully sentient. We have yet to discover why he became active and caused Incident XXXX-A-1, research with more tools and ways of comunication is ongoing. I ask the permission to test SCP XXXX with other anomalies.
