Two native SCP-XXXX-1 instances.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Site-XXX has been constructed around the area containing SCP-XXXX for observation and testing purposes. Native SCP-XXXX-1 instances are to be given a constant supply of warm food and fresh water, restocked once per day.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an area located in north-eastern Greenland, covering roughly 2.6 square kilometers of surface.
Human beings entering the area's effect range, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, will become unable to perceive sound. The faces of SCP-XXXX-1 instances appear blurred and deformed and lack any facial expression. Motion meant for communication, such as waving, can't be witnessed by other people. Attempts at written communication have failed, as the surface written on by SCP-XXXX-1 will appear blurred in a similar fashion to their face. Therefore, communication with instances of SCP-XXXX-1 is impossible.
SCP-XXXX contains a small, isolated village with approximately 62 residents, referred to as native SCP-XXXX-1 instances, or SCP-XXXX-N. The number of residents hasn't increased since the initial discovery of SCP-XXXX in 1961 and no reproduction of native SCP-XXXX-1 instances has ever been observed since then. Native instances display basic needs such as food, water and sleep, and have a lifespan similar to humans. They walk in a slow and scuffing manner and were not once observed running. They are cold to the touch, even if wearing cold-protective clothing. When left alone, native instances are not hostile.
Any effects of SCP-XXXX will cease if the instance leaves the area's effect range. When removed from the area, native SCP-XXXX-1 instances will actively try to enter SCP-XXXX again, often using force. In their human form, instances are capable of speech and appear fluid in danish.
