Special Containment Procedures: Any media or scientific data regarding SCP-XXXX is to be reviewed for possible credibility or photographic evidence and, if found to pose an information threat, immediately removed or discredited through he use of online moderators. Lunar observatories are to be monitored at all times and any photographic evidence of SCP-XXXX is to be confiscated by the Foundation.
Manned exploration of SCP-XXXX is currently planned. The Foundation as well as NASA established a manned lunar landing program now publicly known as the Artemis Program. Artemis 3 will be the first exploration mission of the site. 2 NASA astronauts will remain stationed in orbit while 1 NASA astronaut and 1 Foundation astronaut will depart for a 7 day mission on the surface, utilizing a Lunar Terrain Vehicle to explore SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous landing site on the lunar surface. It contains a NASA built lunar lander (referred to as SCP-XXXX-a), a lunar rover, a sun bleached American flag with Apollo 21 written on the post, several ground station experiments, waste bags ejected from the landing vehicle, several footprints from three NASA astronauts wearing EMU space suits, and footprints from what is believed to be a Krechet-94 spacesuit developed by the USSR.
