Special Containment Procedures: Webbot AOL-43 ("Biological-Computer") is to be kept in constant operation and checked for defects by a Level (4) Technician. When active, the bot will search a wide range of internet media for SCP-XXXX instances on the internet. Once detected, the AI will initiate a server-destruction-attack, effectively destroying the media within the server. After detection of the instance, no access to the bots will be permitted under any circumstances, and the next copy of the bot within Document-"AOL-43-(SCP-XXXX)" will be chosen as the next AOL-43 webbot.

Information of SCP-XXXX collected by non-foundation groups will be destroyed, and viewers amnesticized. Suppression of SCP-XXXX into a non-anomalous, dangerous virus, is to be executed during a breach of SCP-XXXX into the civilian popualation.

Due to the easily spreadable nature of SCP-XXXX and the risk of harm the threat poses, all personnel coming into contact with any other personnel involved in SCP-XXXX are to wear Class-VI Protective Hazmat Suits, and any communication done with involved personnel must be verbal.

In the event of a breach of SCP-XXXX, all foundation sites are to enter Class-VIII Quarantine-Protocols and are to be kept at a alert level of at least 6. Any breach of SCP-XXXX into the civilian population will result in an immediate evacuation of infected areas, along with screening.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the recurring manifestation of computer viruses on a form of internet media. The appearance of the virus is generally invisible on actual internet media, and will generally go unnoticed unless with the use of special bots. The location of the manifestation appears to be at live, highly active, internet sites in which SCP-XXXX manifestations are spread most easily. SCP-XXXX computer virus manifestations are typically highly diverse in it's damage and behavior within a viewer, but will always be transferred via direct contact with it (e.g accessing infected media on a computer). Once transferred, the SCP-XXXX virus will replicate itself within the infected host, cause differing intensities of damage, and will continue being transferred during direct contact.

However, if the viewer is a biological subject, then SCP-XXXX will insert itself into the subject only if the subject visually views it (any other senses will not result in SCP-XXXX infection). SCP-XXXX will then transform into a biological virus when entering a biological subject. The virus will appear within the bloodstream and thereafter cause differing intensities of damage from host-to-host, and will continue to infect other subjects if the subject makes visual contact with an infected host.

Tests conclude that the resulting biological virus is semi-random, as the bio-virus will almost always function and will usually cause damage to biological hosts, including death. However, no constant symptoms have been reported as of yet.

Addendum XXXX.1: Testing Logs

Context: D-90324 instructed to read a infected SCP-XXXX document, the infected document was recovered from a infected Webbot AOL-43, and submitted into a computer via unknown means.
Result: D-90324 is confused and refuses to read the document. After encouragement, D-90324 complies and reads the infected document out-loud. No symptoms appeared until approximately 212 days later on May 16 (2023), in which D-90324 started to rapidly begin to have seizures, and was diagnosed with status-epilepticus from medical staff. Seizures abruptly ended on May 18 (2023), with silence after. It is presumed that D-90324 expired immediately after the seizures, likely from post-ictal suppression within the brain-stem. As it was expected prior to D-90324's seizures that no effects occurred, at least 102 personnel are currently infected by D-90324.

Context: D-40333 is instructed to read an infected SCP-XXXX document.
Result: D-40333 complies without encouragement. D-40333 reads the document in her head. Symptoms occur approximately 23 hours after reading, in which subject shows symptoms of a mild fever. No other symptoms reported after 2 years. D-40333 is terminated after the 2 year mark via an airborne lethal gas.

Context: D-40333 is instructed to "look at the computer and then wait.".
Result: No effd12
