Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5124 Should be kept in a 1m x 1m x .45m metal box. The box should be cleaned out daily of any particles that may be inside. If any unauthorized personnel enter 5124's containment, they are to be terminated immediately. 5124 should under no circumstances be taken out of containment.

Description: SCP-5124 is an old newspaper of unknown origin. SCP-5124 got the foundation's attention when a citizen of a small town committed mass murder then suicide. Police investigating found 5124 folded up in the citizen's pocket. After the officer took a look at the newspaper, he then proceeded to shoot the other officer with him. The foundation deployed two agents and recovered 5124 without any problems. SCP-5124 is currently being tested in Site [DATA EXPLUNGED]. If physical contact is made with 5124, the subject will be sent to SCP-5124-A. In 5124-A, there is SCP-5124-B, an insect-like creature that has a taste for human flesh. All D-class that have been sent into 5124 have most likely been eaten by 5124-B (see addendum A2).

Addendum a: D16253 was told to look at 5124. D16253 looked at the newspaper. D16253 looked around. D16253 proceeded to bash his head against the wall. Guards neutralized D16253.

Addendum b: D37281 was given a pair of scissors and asked to try and cut SCP-5124. As D37281 snipped the 5124, his eyes turned gray. He started to bang on the containment door. D37281 then proceeded stab himself with the scissors.

Addendum C: D27382 was told to touch 5124. D27382 touched 5124. Suddenly, D27382 was gone.

Addendum A2: D70283 was fitted with a camera, gps tracker and a harness that was connected to a reel with rope. D70283 was asked to touch 5124. The camera feed showed D70283 getting transported to an unknown location. There was no gps signal. The D-class made a full turn, showing that he was in a town. There was no one to be seen anywhere. Audio picked up a sound that sounded like growling. All of a sudden, the camera feed went to static. The rope had also disappeared, along with the reel.
