Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5### is to be permanently contained in Site-19 inside a container made from reinforced steel with a window fitted to proportional measurements of the container. ̶A̶ ̶m̶i̶n̶i̶m̶u̶m̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶g̶u̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶d̶i̶r̶e̶c̶t̶l̶y̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶s̶i̶d̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶a̶i̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ Guards are only to be stationed 3 meters or more from containment following. SCP-5###’s container is to be fitted to 28 centimeters over that of the height and width of the current SCP-5###-2.
If there is not a current instance of SCP-5###-2, SCP-5### is to be secured to a pedestal and it’s container to be fitted three inches over the pedestals height and width. Instances of SCP-5###-3 are to be contained in similar respects except the container is to be filled with tap water from the area SCP-5###-3 originated in and the door is fitted to the top of the container.
Any instances of SCP-5###-3 that attempt to break containment should be terminated through the withdrawal of all water through the designated and faculty approved fluid removal tube. Following incident Test-B-4### all instances of SCP-5###-1 should be terminated after testing to avoid containment breach of SCP-5### again.

An instance of SCP-5###-1

Description:
SCP-5### is a necklace consisting of eight elliptical gemstones of unnatural nature, consisting
of different abnormal cuts and facets, named by the presumed original creator/discoverer, Sirinite. It was discovered, after an error of translation, that SCP-5###
The abnormal qualities of SCP-5### are observed within a 3-meter radius if not worn by SCP-5###-1, SCP-5###-2 or SCP-5###-3. The first effect being an unknown urge to step closer and study SCP-5### more intricately. If removed from 3-meter radius after subject has taken enough interest to touch SCP-5###, subject will question the removal and try to return to SCP-5###. If continually kept out of radius, subject will become more violent in their actions to return. Subject will resume normal behavior after 48 hours.
However, if subject wears SCP-5###, other anomalies are displayed.
Anyone the subject has a romantic interest in will, within a 3-meter radius of subject, now designated SCP-5###-1, while wearing SCP-5###, will immediately become romantically and sexually attracted to SCP-5###-1, even if such feelings did not exist prior to exposure.
Anyone who trys to remove SCP-5### from SCP-5###-1 will ultimately be killed by SCP-5###-1.
After 72 hours of exposure to subjects romantic/sexual interests, SCP-5###-1 will have grown healthier and any diseases, disorders, or disfigurements will be inexplicably healed. Effects of old age such as saggy skin, wrinkles, and spots will disappear. Any extra body fat that is unnecessary will be burned off unusually fast. SCP-5###-1 will then develop cannibalistic urges and attack romantic/sexual interests till all are dead or consumed.
3 hours before this amount of exposure, SCP-5##-1’s teeth will fall out at a rapid rate and their jaw will expand. This process has been described as very painful and results in 3 new rows of teeth, the DNA composition matching various sharks from the nearest area.
After consumption or homicide of romantic/sexual interests, the SCP-5###-1 will become distraught and undergo unnatural changes. The skin darkens to a dark navy blue/ black and thickens. Webbing, gills, and fusion of the legs are also observed.
48 hours after initial transformations, SCP-5###-1 has a 75% of hardening into a statue, immobile and devoid of bodily functions or any brain function. SCP-5###-1 also has a 25% chance of completing developments until the subject's legs are fused into a tail-like appendage, gills have fully developed and lungs harmlessly collapse. As long as SCP-5##-1 is able to submerge themselves in water, salt, fresh, or otherwise, they will survive.
It has been observed that instances of SCP-5###-3 are significantly weakened when submerged in tap water from SCP-5###-3’s origin, and strengthened when submerged in water from fresh springs. SCP-5###-3, after changes are complete, will live out the rest of their time as a feral inhuman creature with a lust for consuming human flesh.
The vocal cords have been seen to undergo a change to produce alluring, melodic tones, whose effects are matched to that of the necklace itself. These tones easily draw in male humans and other animals. SCP-5###-3, however, will only consume humans. Strangely, SCP-5###-3 will only attract male humans even if SCP-5###-3 had previously consumed female humans before.
If SCP-5### is removed, SCP-5###-3 will asphyxiate, no matter what environment the subject resides in, and SCP-5###-2 will remain petrified. However, if SCP-5###-1 is not fully developed or has transitioned to SCP-5###-2, any effects of the necklace will remain in place. It should be noted that instances of SCP-5###-2 have an alluring effect on male humans and some animals, such as cats, dogs, and birds, up to a 9-meter radius.

Testing has concluded that the piece of paper obtained through SCP-5###’s retrieval is dated back to the 16th century despite it showing no structural damage. The ink and picture remain pristine. It is unsure if SCP-5### is the cause of this anomaly, but testing of the presumed initial SCP-5###-3’s DNA matched that of an Alix Manolis, 1605-2018, estimated to come in contact with SCP-5### in 16██, and the DNA found inside of Manolis’s digestive track matched that of ████9 different male humans with one instance of a female. It is unsure how the DNA of all ████9 humans remained intact. Among those was the DNA of Kynthia Manolis,1616-1646 the presumed wife and possibly the first death caused by SCP-5###.

Foreword: Interview of hostile humanoid entity 48 hours after retrieval
Begin Log: 2:15 PM
Dr. Randall: SCP-5###-3 can you understand me?
SCP-5###-3: What the [EXPLETIVE] kind of name is that? Address me properly. It's Alix Manolis and it would be in your best interest to respect me. You don't know what i'm capable of.
Dr. Randall: Okay…Manolis. I should advise you against threatening me. Any attempts of violence will result in your immediate termination. So tell me, who exactly are you? What is your purpose? What are the effects of SCP-5###?
SCP-5###-3: I am Alix Manolis…or at least I was. I was a man before. Before I lost her. My purpose is to…to..I am unsure. I simply wish to survive.
Dr. Randall: Before you lost who?
SCP-5###-3: You look like her. What was the name of your 7th generation grandmother?
Dr. Randall: My 7th…Kynthia…Manolis…I didn't recognize the name at first.
SCP-5###-3: My 6th generation granddaughter. It's nice to meet you. I knew I recognized those eyes. I've been watching my family grow and die. I know those eyes anywhere.
Dr. Randall: How long…how long have you been alive?
SCP-5###-3: 3██ years since I've been this way.
Dr. Randall: I..I have to go.
SCP-5###-3: NO! You can't leave me! Dap███ and you are all I have left!
Dr.Randall: I have to.
Endlog: 2:55 PM

Following incident: SCP-5###-3 banged on current containment and caused the glass of the containment to crack and shatter, SCP-5###-3 breaching containment. SCP-5###-3 is terminated and Dr. Randall was shot in the shoulder as a casualty. Dr. Randall was escorted to the infirmary.
Analysis: H̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶f̶a̶m̶i̶l̶y̶!̶ ̶H̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶g̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶h̶u̶r̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶o̶n̶e̶!̶ Dr. Randall has been removed from any and all projects relating to or involving SCP-5###,SCP-5###-1,SCP-5###-2, and SCP-5###-3.

Test-A-4###
Begin Log: 2/19/█8 3:00 PM.
D-####, a 24 yr old male with an extensive criminal record of assault and battery, is allowed access to SCP-5###.
D-#### starts touching SCP-5### and after 10 minutes of examination, puts SCP-5### on.
D-####, a 21 yr old male charged with sexual assault and minor theft, is sent in with directions to remove SCP-5### and approaches D-####, now designated as SCP-5###-1.
SCP-5###-1 appears calm and even engages D-#### in a friendly conversation. D-#### seems relaxed by this behavior and reaches to remove SCP-5###.
SCP-5###-1 has no reaction until D-#### touches SCP-5###. SCP-5###-1 lunges towards D-#### and wraps its hands around D-####'s throat. D-#### is startled and claws at SCP-5###-1's hands.
SCP-5###-1 pins D-#### onto the floor and proceeds to vomit a clear liquid onto D-####'s face. D-#### screams as his flesh melts off the bone.
D-####'s cause of death is extreme tissue and brain damage. SCP-5###-1 and SCP-5### are contained. It was also noted that despite lack of contact with the clear liquid, D-####'s hands and genitals were also heavily damaged.**

Test-B-4###
D-####, a female charged with illegal drug distribution, is given the instructions to remove SCP-5###.
SCP-5###-1 seems wary and asks D-#### to introduce themselves. D-#### introduces herself as Charlotte Mannacotta. SCP-5###-1 relaxes and strikes up a friendly conversation. D-#### mostly ignores the conversation and goes to remove SCP-5###.
SCP-5###-1 screams and grabs D-####'s wrist. D-#### convulses and falls to the floor, writhing in exclaimed agony for █ minutes, before dying.
SCP-5###-1 kills the guard in the room and breaches containment. SCP-5###-1 kills 9 other staff members before termination.
An autopsy of D-#### shows traces of an unknown lethal drug throughout D-####'s blood stream. Cause of death was determined to be overheating of the blood, which caused the brain to ████

Any further testing has been suspended until further notice by Dr. Kn█████

Due to the sudden disappearance of Dr.Kn█████, Dr. Founder is instated as the new head of research.

Test-C-4###
D-####, a male charged with child molestation, is given the instructions to remove SCP-5### from SCP-5###-1, a female charged with attempted first-degree murder of her Ex-husband.
D-#### takes one look at SCP-5###-1 and protests against instruction of taking SCP-5### off of SCP-5###-1. D-#### is threatened with termination and reluctantly complies. SCP-5###-1 is unusually hostile and snaps at D-####, nicking D-####'s neck. The recording of the next events is posted below.
** D-####: " You [EXPLETIVE] crazy [EXPLETIVE]! What the hell do you think you're doing!".
SCP-5###-1: "Doing what I should've two years ago!" It should be noted, after the conclusion of Test-C-4, it was discovered that D-#### and SCP-5###-1 had personal relations, and were once married.
D-####: " I really should've raped those sorry [EXPLETIVE] children of yours."
SCP-5###-1 lunged at D-#### and then froze. SCP-5###-1 suddenly spasmed and vomited a thick black liquid into D-####'s mouth and throat.
D-#### screamed and gurgled, clutching at his genitals. D-####'s hands turn a dark color as D-#### coughs blood and the black liquid onto himself. D-####'s movements still after 9 minutes.
SCP-5###-1 transitions into SCP-5###-2 and stops breathing.
Samples of the black liquid are collected, and SCP-5### is removed from SCP-5###-2 and put into proper containment. D-#### and SCP-5###-2 and taken for autopsy and further examination.
Examination of liquid shows that it is highly acidic when mixed with blood and/or mucus. Autopsy reports show that D-###'s cause of death is deterioration of esophagus and lungs. D-###'s hands, lips, tongue, and genitals are severely damaged and burned. SCP-5###-2's death was caused by the cessation of bodily functions. SCP-5###-2's hands and eyes also glowed abnormally even in bright light. Bodies were incinerated and the liquid was put into a class 4 biohazard containment unit.**
