Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5106 is to be contained in a 50x50 meter room filled with vegetation and wild life, simulating a forest. Water, such as a creek or river, is optional. Hidden cameras are to be placed around the room and used at all times. If SCP-5106 is to break any cameras: three D class subjects without hunting experience are to be inserted and fix the camera and/or move the location still watching over the same area. Cleanings are not needed nor required. Either once every two weeks is a healthy male
Description: SCP-5106 Stands at 7’5 including antlers, 7’ without. Current weight is unknown. SCP 5106, more commonly know to site staff as “The Wendigo”, is a humanoid being. A deer skull with 12 points on its antlers veils it head. A torn and tattered black and brown coat is usually seen veiling the rest of its body, but on occasion staff have seen it take the coat off. It’s skin doesn’t hold color, in fact, is completely pitch black. SCP 5106 skin does not reflect light nor absorb light.
SCP-5106 is known as “The Wendigo” due to several of the staff members with Native American ancestors feeling uneasy within a 1 mile radius of it. It is also known as “The Wendigo” do to its similarities to the folklore, mainly its food source.
