Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and all instances of SCP-XXXX-1, and SCP-XXXX-2 are to be contained within a 3 meter tall electrically charged chain-linked fence topped with barbed wire encompassing an area of 8.2 kilometers of forest within Site-85. The fence is then to be surrounded by a 5 meter tall and 1 meter thick concrete wall, with watch towers stationed every 35 meters. At least one sniper is to be present in watch guard tower at all times. The █████████ Forest is to be closed indefinitely under the guise of being turned into a nature preserve and all civilians caught within the boundary of the Forest are to be administered class-A amnestics and have false memories implanted before being released. Routine drone flights are to be made over the area to monitor the actions of SCP-XXXX-1. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1, Operatives of MTF Psi-8 (The Silencers) and MTF Epsilon-9 (Fire Eaters) are to maintain constant armed patrols within Site-85 and all sightings of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are to be engaged by MTF operatives. Operatives of MTF Psi-8 and Epsilon-9 are not to enter the enclosed area unless permitted by level 4 personnel. Should instances of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 succeed in extensively breaching containment, the acting Site Administer is to enact the Scorched Earth Protocol (see addendum A) and all on site personnel are to prepare for a level 3 Rising Event (see addendum B).
Description: SCP-XXXX is a perfectly circular pond stretching 80 meters in diameter located in the █████████ Forest of ███████, Germany. The area around SCP-XXXX is covered in dense flora native to the German high lands far exceeding the amount of the surrounding forest. The pond appears to be filled with multiple species of fish and attracts various forms of fauna, including an anomalous tribe of humans titled SCP-XXXX-1. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are in fact biological humans, showing no deviation in their physical forms or DNA, leaving site researchers baffled as to the source of their anomalous properties. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 vary in their anomalous abilities and the strength of said abilities. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are some form of reality bender following along the lines of druidic thaumaturgy, and all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 aid in the manifestation of SCP-XXXX-2. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are reanimated corpses produced by the combined efforts of instances of SCP-XXXX-1 in group rituals. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 always have deep wounds along their chest, back, and abdominal region that have been stuffed with various herbs, spices, and plants. These entities are near mindless, and appear to used by instances of SCP-XXXX-1 for simple labor and for attacking entities that instances of SCP-XXXX-1 deem a threat. It is unknown how many instances of SCP-XXXX-2 reside within the containment area of Site-85 but estimates range from 150 to ████. Note that Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 do not appear to decay over time and are believed to have some form of biological immortality. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are difficult to terminate via conventional firearms (see incident report HC-001), and removing limbs from the entity, or splitting the body into separate pieces does not cease the entity from having full control over it motor functions, even for limbs that were removed before conversion took place. Incendiary rounds and flame throwers have proven to be most effective in terminating instances of SCP-XXXX-2 as the entities are far more flammable than non-converted corpses.
Knowledge of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 was first obtained in ██/██/20██ after a series of tourists and German nationals were reported missing after having visited the █████████ Forest. For the purpose of gaining insight as to the situation within the forest, two D-class personnel were fitted with wireless cameras, microphones, and ear pieces and then sent into the forest in the █████████ expedition.

D-1 (D-4943), D-2 (D-7422), Command (Foundation command center for the █████████ expedition)
Command: This is Command, time is 21:00, beginning audio log. D-1 and D-2, please speak out loud so we can test your microphones.
D-1: Fuck you
D-2: Fuck you
Command: yep… just perfect. D-1 and D-2, you are to begin to follow the previously marked route. please report your actions as precisely as possible.
D-2: understood sir (mocking tone) i will now proceed to take one step forward… and now another step forward… and now ano-
D-1: (interrupts D-2) Just shut the fuck up and lets get this over with.
D-2: Damn, who brought this asshole.
// D-1 and D-2 begin down the marked path and radio silence is heard for 7 minutes and 13 seconds//
D-1: Command, we've reached the end of the marked path. There's a fork in the trail. tell us what to do.
Command: Roger D-1, you and D-2 are to continue down the right path.
D-1: understood.
D-1 and D-2 can be seen continuing down the right path
D-2: So what in the actual fuck is the foundation doing here command?
Command: That's classified.
D-1: you really have no clue do you command?
Command: That's classified.
2 minutes and 4 seconds have passed since D-1 and D-2 went down the right path
D-2: what ever it is, it's probably going to get us killed, we all know D-class don't last long whenever The Foundation actually needs our sorry asses.
D-1: You know, i'm trying to think positive about my situation, and you're not helping. Look on the bright side, we could've been one of those poor bastards that get served as food to whatever monstrosity they got contained next door.
D-2: I guess… but in truth, there aren't many other ways D-class-
D-2 is cut off by something causing a loud splintering sound out of view from the recording. sounds of intense screaming come from D-2. D-1 looks over to see what appear to be several sharpened tree roots that had been impaled through D-2's feet and lower legs. D-2 is then seen being rushed at by two (2) men seeming to be covered in white war paint wielding long daggers. D-1 is then impaled in a similar fashion to D-2 and is promptly rushed by two (2) more men in similar war paint. D-1 can be heard screaming. D-1's and D-2's equipment continue to record and present the incident to command who has remained silent since the beginning of the incident
D-2: FUCK! GOD DAMN IT! HELP ME!
D-2 is seen being dragged off the trail by the two men who rushed to him
D-1: COMMAND! COMMAND, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!
command remains silent, D-2 can still be heard screaming through his microphone
D-1: COMMAND FUCKING ANSWER ME!
D-1 is picked up and dragged in the same direction as D-2, the men dragging D-1 and D-2 make no attempt to silence them. command continues to remain silent. 20 minutes and 34 seconds pass with D-1 and D-2 being dragged through the forest continuously screaming. At 21:31 D-1 and D-2 are dragged into a clearing where SCP-XXXX is visible. What appears to be a village is seen as D-1 and D-2 are dragged past wooden homes built in early Germanic style. D-1 and D-2 are then placed at the foot of the pond, with a crowd gathered around them. An elderly man comes into view wielding a dagger and covered in the same white war paint seen as before. The elderly man begins to speak to the crowd in what researches belief to be a form a proto-germanic.
D-2: (quietly) command… command what is he saying…
command remains silent
D-2: command?…
D-2 is struck by one of the men holding him and is then brought forward to the elderly man. The Elderly man then cups his hands into a bowl shape and takes water from the pond into it. The elderly man holds out his hands to D-2 who's head is pushed towards the water. D-2 proceeds to drink from the elderly mans hands, and seconds later vomits an extreme amount of blood. Upon seeing this, the crowd begins to shout violently at D-2 who is then stabbed by the elderly man, followed by the two men holding him, followed by the men, women, and children of the crowd. D-2's corpse is then stripped and is seen being roasted, and then eaten by the village inhabitants. D-2's equipment is tossed into the dirt by the crowed. D-1 is then brought forward to the elder, who performs the same act as with D-2. D-1 attempts to resist, but his jaw is forced open and the elderly man pours the water down his throat. D-1 after swallowing the water does not vomit, and upon seeing this the crowed begins to cheer at D-1 who is then stabbed by the elderly man, once again followed by the two men holding him, and once again followed by the crowd. D-1's corpse is then stripped and has various herbs and flowers placed into the wounds. D-1's equipment is tossed to the side with D-2's equipment. The crowd is then seen surrounding D-1's corpse and chanting, completely unaware of the cameras D-1 and D-2 were fitted with. After 15 seconds of chanting, D-1's corpse begins to violently spasm. After 20 seconds of chanting, D-1's corpse uttered a scream which can only be described as a combined voice of many high and low pitches put into one. After the ritual was complete, the corpse of D-1 rose from the ground and walked into the lake, the villagers then returned to their homes. The cameras of D-1 and D-2 continued recording the villagers for two (2) additional days before both camera batteries run out of power.
All expeditions into the contained region are to be suspended indefinitely.
