Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a airtight room built of steel. The room was just empty with only SCP-XXXX in it at first, however that changed unexpectedly. SCP-XXXX's Containment cell now contains items that suspiciously appeared without the site personnel knowing how. the items that are now in the room include; A wireless smart television with a Crunchyroll subscription that it somehow paid for itself and upon discovery it had one anime in recently watched, a giant circular bed with pillows all around it like a small fence and a big blanket, and a empty minifridge not plugged in due to there not being any outlets. upon noticing this change the site personnel freaked out at first thinking a containment breach happened but calmed down eventually and became more curious than scared. When personnel tried to remove the items from the containment cell SCP-XXXX put the items in its void and then took them out when personnel left its cell again.
If SCP-XXXX for whatever reason leaves the place that it now calls its 'dungeon', staff are to turn on the infrared lights in the facility and use the tracker placed on it to find where it is on the monitors and make sure it doesn't leave for good. If SCP-XXXX somehow escapes site premises a recovery mission will be ordered for SCP-XXXX and the agents are to be equipped with vacuums that will have airtight and vacuum sealed containers attached to them and also be equipped with infrared flashlights. It has also been noted that some personnel have grown attached to SCP-XXXX and think of it as a sort of brother or friend that is just a really nerdy shut in and occasionally go and watch anime with it with permission from a higher up if they are not of required credentials. This has been written down as a side effect of being within a 2 ft radius of SCP-XXXX and personnel are now strongly encouraged to stay at least that far away from it.
Should SCP-XXXX fail to be recovered after a mission is ordered then personnel will be ordered to to destroy all of the stuff in its room if it doesn't return. SCP-XXXX comes back immediately as if sensing what is about to happen and doesn't want that to happen. SCP-XXXX is to have its room vacuumed sealed if it is thought to be plotting an escape, this will force it into a dormant state due to lack of oxygen, it is unknown why this happens but it is thought that oxygen is the only substance SCP-XXXX needs to survive so only once it is seen in its dormant state then the vacuum seal is to be turned off and SCP-XXXX will remain dormant for 2 days before awakening again.
The reason for Containing SCP-XXXX in the above ways are because it is almost capable of running off and just not allowing us to contain it again for a while. If we denied most of its requests it could possibly just leave and do 'mostly' whatever it wants. Due to some fear of this site personnel try their very best to do everything listed above and keep it contained, though some are, for an unknown reason, growing attached to SCP-XXXX as mentioned above.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a sapient humanoid figure made out of an unknown dark black mist like substance that is believed to be part of the void it can create a 'gateway' to. SCP-XXXX has the ability to change shape temporarily or for extended periods of time if it is in its dormant state. SCP-XXXX can go from being almost completely transparent, to extremely thick and not transparent at all. SCP-XXXX is passive toward all living creatures and seems to have its own morals. SCP-XXXX seems to be oddly protective of itself and not even it knows why this is, further questioning and research may be required regarding that.
SCP-XXXX seems to think like a human would and not an animal. SCP-XXXX has no way of communicating with others verbally however. This is due to it not possessing the organs or a mouth that could be used for vocal communication. SCP-XXXX is extremely compliant with researchers and other site personnel and does what it is instructed to do willingly, however if it dislikes it will protest for a bit before giving up its protest depending on the circumstances. SCP-XXXX appears to weigh the pros and cons of how something may end up before doing most of what it does.
SCP-XXXX Has three unique and odd abilities that have yet to be fully investigated or understood completely what they are for. The first discovered ability of SCP-XXXX is that it can open up a 'gateway' to a sort of void like world within its 'body'. It can then travel into that void but whenever it comes out it will always be at the location it went in from, at first it was thought it was teleportation but that was proved wrong. The void appears to be able to not just hold SCP-XXXX within it but also is capable of having other things enter it as well. However once SCP-XXXX leaves the 'gateway' will close and sometimes it closes on its own for an unknown reason forcing SCP-XXXX out but whatever else that wasn't SCP-XXXX stays in it until its opened again and is brought back out.
The second discovered ability of SCP-XXXX is to possess any creature it doesn't matter if the creature is alive or dead. When SCP-XXXX possess a creature it will be able to express emotion and speak if the creature's body has the necessary requirements for speech. SCP-XXXX has been noted to be able to use anomaly powers whenever it possesses another creature with one although the powers are always weakened by 20% every time. It also gains the knowledge and experience of the creatures life for the time that it is possessing it but when it quits possessing the memories are foggy and will disappear after a 24 hour time frame. SCP-XXXX is capable of creating mist with the limbs of whatever creature it possesses and controlling it as if it is a part of its body it seems to be able to disperse and create this mist at will as well as change its integrity.
The third and final discovered ability of SCP-XXXX is repairing broken objects without touching them. This was thought to be a sort of time manipulation at first, but it is still in debate as there have still been signs of harm on objects. If the objects were reversed in time it would probably be rid of all signs of being broken in the first place.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX has been recently discovered to have personality changes when in its 'gateway' and there is a 50/50 chance it will end up hostile for no reason, it is believed that some outside force is trying to manipulate or control SCP-XXXX somehow for an unknown reason however there is no proof behind this claim as of yet.
