Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX are to be contained in individual standard size humanoid containment cell removed of all sharp objects and have the lower half of their face concealed at all times. SCP-XXXX are allowed to congregate with each other and can make requests for any additional items and freedoms5

Description: SCP-XXXX refers to women who have contracted a dangerous cognitohazardous condition (henceforth refereed to as SCP-XXXX-A) that can spreed to other women when an instance cuts open their mouth. Once infected, the newly created instance's recent wounds will heal and gain a number of anomalies traits including a mouth orifice two to three times normal size, teeth that that have been reformed to a sharp and jagged shape, and an extreme aversion to reveal their lower face. Any instance of SCP-XXXX will tipicly behave as it does prior to infection, but exibits two noteable behavor patterns refferd to as Pattern Y and Pattern Z
Pattern Y: SCP-XXXX's cognitohazardous effect activates when someone not infected with SCP-XXXX-A manages to clearly view a instance's abnormal mouth with the instance's knowledge, this will cause the instance to lose control of itself and enter a temporary violent and frenzied state and attack anyone it has perceives to seen it's mouth6 with increased levels of strengh and speed7. Once an instance has return to its prior state, it will show signs of fatigue and has even shown to less likely to be triggered into entering Pattern Y brief period of time8
Subjects that enter Pattern Y will use any nearby sharp object9 to use as a weapon. Although a subject starts it's attack with stabbing and slashing the target's body, once given the opportunely the subject will carve open the target's mouth to the point where it resembles the subject's own mouth; if the target is female then the target will become another instance of SCP-XXXX.
Addendum Y: Studys have shown that Pattern Y will not trigger if a instance face is seen from more then 5 meaters away or by looking at any photo or video of any instance, thus makeing any interactions with all instences much easier. Moreover instances that have been born or have devlop early in it's life any facal deformortys or vision baised disibilty have shown unable to enter Pattern Y at all
Pattern Z: When entering Pattern Y, an instance will also enter a adrinilin-like state whre they gain increased levels of strength and speed for a short amount of time10. While this would normaly not warrented a catazaton of it's own, some instances have shown to enter Pattern Z volntary and without the need to enter Pattern Y. However Pattern Z seems to require a good deal of energy, and insances become fatigued upon exiting
History: While the exact origins are unknown, it is believed that the fist instance of SCP-XXXX came to be sometime in Japan as early as the post war Shōwa era11. The first cases of SCP-XXXX came to the foundation Around late 19██ when answering to reports that recently admitted female patents in a Japanese hospital had developed disfigured faces and attacked the hospital staff upon regaining conciseness. According to hospital staff all said patents where victims of a recent case of of serial slashing, all subsequent interviews with victims described the slasher as a long black haired woman wearing a face mask. Oddly while the woman in question matching the characteristics of an instance of SCP-XXXX, she was also described as acting of her own volition not showing any signs of SCP-XXXX-A1, sometimes not even taking off her face mask.
Some time after the first few cases of SCP-XXXX, more cases started appearing throughout Japanese cites and eventually several parts of other countries12, it was around this time rumors of a figure known as Kuchisake-onna13 started to spread. As per Foundation protocols, the Foundation began to spreed several conflicting rumors in order to delude and confuse public knowledge on the "Kuchisake-onna".
Addendum As of ██/██/██, several instances of SCP-XXXX have apparied outsiede of Japan. It is currently unkown how the infection managed to spreed, but it has been notted that to date all these new instances have been found in first world countrys, and were liveing in urban areas that have a high number citizins that have japanese anserstry
Indent XXXX-██ and partnership with the GOC
On 10/16/2012, an instance of SCP-XXXX attacked the two daughters of Commander Conan "Cannonball" Walker of the Global Occult Coalition High Command. The youngest, Madalyn Walker only sustained minor injurys while the eldest, Esmée Walker was turned into an instance of SCP-XXXX. Aproximetly one month latter, the foundation was contacted by Madalyn Walker through Global Occult Coalition back-channels, nigoieating for the containment and overall safty of her sister along with her unborn children14. Esmée Walker was latter safely contained and both sisters were placed in the Foundation's specal protection untill further notice

Closing Statement: A few questions come up concerening the identy and motive of the currently unkown instance that attacked the Walker sisters, and what happend after Dr. Walker was knocked out. While the young Dr. Walker is clearly hideing something, I belive she might be doing so to protect her elder sister and may hold no relvence to the foundation. None the less, I will try to gain more information from the two sisters. Hopefully we can find out what we need to know without getting GOC involved, I would hate to be whoever has to deal with someone like their father

If this allince goes through, then we may be able to fully contain SCP-XXXX. It's my theory that SCP-XXXX originates from a pacent zero which could be key to finding a possible cure, and with the GOC's coropation we might be able to locate this pacent zero by traceing back the spreed of the infection. I know that the GOC has made this process dificult because they often destroy any instances that they find, so any kind of agreement to not steep on each other's toes should benifit both groups

XXXX-53: No, at least not completely. After she finished attacking me she turned her attention to Maddie, but didn't go through with attacking her. I think she was planing to but changed her mind. She just… stared at the two of us as I struggled through the pain, trying to stay awake

And the adrenaline-like backlash from exiting both pattern Y and Z causes exaustion from any instance to the point of fainting
XXXX-53: I'm suprised I didn't pass out from the pain myself, I guss that I was so scared what was going to happen to Maddie that I just forced myself to stay awake. There was something about the look in that woman's eyes that told me she knew that kind of fear. The woman tossed me a face mask, saying something about she "only needed one of us anyways". XXXX-53: (shouting) Because I nearly attacked my sister! Because I got carless and allowed a pair of sisors near me! Because I was folish enough to not lock the door when I was cleaning Madalyn's room! Because this scar is a reminder of why I need to be locked up and kept away from everyone! She was so terified what could have hapened to you and your future childrin if the GOC or some other group found you. She even hid your little attack from us, and I'm willing to bet it was because she belived we wouldn't treat you as nicely we knew.
