Description: SCP-XXXX is [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX was discovered in the Pacific Ocean near [DATA REDACTED] during a routine patrol by the SCPS Sunderland while tracking SCP-2467. after SCP-XXXX was detected, the SCPS Darkside was sent from Site-██ to recover SCP-XXXX and take it to Site-███. The sub successfully recovered the object and started its journey to Site-███. Contact with the SCPS Darkside was lost on ██/█/██. The submarine breached the waters surface at ██/██/██ and then rammed into the docks at Site-███. None of the Site-███ staff were injured. The site manager then had a single D-Class with a camera and armed with a G19. Upon D-78892 entering the now beached nuclear submarine, he discovered that the interior was completely destroyed and littered with deceased crew and a large decaying body was located in the airlock, apparently attempting to escape before the sub had some sort of on board explosion, causing the interior destruction. D-78892 then found SCP-XXXX and attempted to [DATA EXPUNGED] causing him to [DATA EXPUNGED].

The affects of SCP-XXXX are [DATA EXPUNGED], meaning that part of the way into the [DATA EXPUNGED] a subject can be forcibly removed and/or killed. Depending on the length of exposure and the thing being exposed, subjects might be able to retain memories and consciousness. This results in the creation of SCP-XXXX-A, and prolonged exposure will cause the creation of SCP-XXXX-B, which is to be terminated as soon as possible to bring down the number of possible casualties. SCP-XXXX-A is like SCP-XXXX-B, however it retains cognitive thinking from its previous form, but will still [DATA EXPUNGED] within 24 hours. If the subject was humanoid, it is sometimes capable of limited speech, but not full conversation. SCP-XXXX-B will attempt to [DATA EXPUNGED] anything in sight and will also [DATA EXPUNGED] until it [DATA EXPUNGED], causing a possible containment breach.

Addendum A: Due to the easy-to-contain nature of SCP-XXXX, the object has been downgraded from keter to safe. No experimentation is required. All staff should be notified verbally of SCP-XXXX and its properties and how to avoid being affected by it.
