Description: SCP-5XXX is an orb by which unknown means levitates 1 meter off the ground at all times. Dimensions of the orb consist of a diameter and height of approximately 5 meters. Chemical analysis of the orb has proven it is composed of mostly liquid nitrogen, as well as a few unknown substances. Any inorganic physical matter, or vegetation that passes through SCP-5XXX will disappear to an unknown location. Any organic animal and human that go into SCP-5XXX will be transported to a cube-like room of various dimensions. This is known as SCP-5XXX- 1.
SCP-5XXX- 1 is a completely metallic silver room, that has a console of which is similar to a space shuttle. The console's size and shape are different depending on the animal or human who enters. For animals, the console appears to have only buttons and analog sticks. When interacted with, there are no observed reactions from any of the features. However, when a human is in SCP-5XXX-1 the console appears to have more features and complex displays. The console's features are all labeled in the language that the subject speaks. For multi speaking subjects, the language that is visible is the most known of that person. When any subject interacts with the displayed buttons and features, the orb suddenly becomes see through for the subject. Allowing it to view the outside in a 360 degree view. The orb does not appear see through for observers not in SCP-5XXX. When further interacted, some subjects have stated that they got SCP-5XXX to move around. Some subjects stated that they went directly through the containment cell, and eventually the entire site itself. Apparently phasing through any physical matter completely, without damage to either the object nor SCP-5XXX. Any such movements did not occur however, to observers from outside SCP-5XXX.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5XXX must be contained in a 10 meter by 10 meter by 8 meter cell lined with Aluminum Alloy 2024-T6 due to the extreme cold that SCP-5XXX emits. The cell must have the ability to be easily accessible for transportation vehicles to enter and exit easily. Any personnel that have Level 2 access can enter the site only with Foundation-issue U-10 thermal suits. If transportation is required for SCP-5XXX, then it must be enclosed in an adequate sized box that has its own electro magnetic pulse. Once SCP-5XXX is contained within said box as well as the electromagnetic field functioning, the box can be placed within any adequate sized transport as the electromagnetic field stops the SCP-5XXX from phasing through objects.
