Description: SCP-XXXX is fungus that can grow through soil, wood, or any soft material. The mycelium of the organism can grow the length of its holding cell. A maximum length of the mycelium has not yet been tested. The fungus itself is found to be a rusty brown color, often with luminescent spots. An electric charge present in the mycelium, beginning in the cap. Like average fungi, SCP-XXXX grows and accumulates on deceased organisms, and moist and dark areas. Spores from XXXX are seen to be bigger than average, and often let off a glow. If any life form were to breathe in these spores, and immense feeling of hunger develops. This hunger then grows into paranoia, and extreme starvation. Through past tests, it is found food normally eaten by the creature does not satisfy this radical hunger. Because of this, the starving organism will soon result into cannibalism, or self-cannibalism. If the organism refuses to eat, it will eventually die out from lack of food. As soon as the creature drops dead, the fungus will grow immediately out the mouth, eye sockets, nostrils, and genitalia. Autopsies have shown the fungus to also grow in the lungs, stomach, intestines, and in rare cases, arteries. No system to flush spores out of an organism has yet to be found.
