Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard human containment cell with all the necessities a normal person requires. If it is found repeatedly rubbing itself on an in the room it must be left alone until this process ends. It is, however, very peaceful and could even be considered friendly if this process is respected.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a human male discovered in ██████, Australia. It has no nails on its fingers or toes, and can be frequently seen chewing on the skin on the end of its fingers. There have been numerous occasions where the biting has lead to bleeding.

If it is accidentally disturbed while rubbing itself as mentioned above, it may become violent. If this happens, the victims of these attacks will develop OCD-like symptoms, eventually leading to being unable to stop its rituals, even refusing to eat. SCP-XXXX seems to be oblivious to these effects, only apparently being aware of the physical attacks.

Foreword: The SCP had only recently been detained. It had showed no sign of struggle or attempts to escape

Dr █████: Why do you rub yourself on furniture in this room?

SCP-XXXX: Well, I guess you could say it comforts me.

Dr █████: So have you been diagnosed with OCD?

SCP-XXXX: No, I haven't been diagnosed with anything like that.

The specimen began to rub its left hand on the corner of the table it was sitting at

Dr █████: What are you doing?

The specimen ignored him, but showed discomfort in its facial expression

Dr █████: I asked you, what are you doing?

Dr █████ grabbed the arm of SCP-XXXX

The specimen grabbed Dr █████'s other arm and proceeded to attack him, later analysis showed minor fractures in the doctor's arm. After crushing Dr █████'s arm for 3 seconds it went back to rubbing the table then acted like nothing had occurred.

Closing Statement: Dr █████ begun to experience the aforementioned OCD-like symptoms, and was unable to recover. SCP-XXXX claimed no knowledge of these effects.

Addendum XXXX-a: 3 months after SCP-XXXX's containment, it begun to count the steps any other human makes should they enter its room. This stopped a few days later.
