Item #: SCP-5824
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures SCP-5824 is to be located in a typical six-by-eight holding cell at Site-17. It is to be regularly checked on in a six-hour rotation and thoroughly examined for any signs of self-harm by D-Class personnel. The specimen is also to be sedated and force-fed when in need of rest and/or substance. Clearance in SCP-5824's cell should only be permitted for an hour, afterward personal are to be removed.
Description: SCP-5824 is a humanoid, Polynesian female with the appearance of a child between the ages 6-8. Despite the physical age, it appears to lack the basic intelligence of its age. It lacks any intelligence at all other than how to walk and basic movements. It cannot speak and is illiterate.
Approximately 115.5cm and 13.6kg, the specimen appears thin and fragile. With messy, long black hair that covers the majority of its face and body. Extremely dry skin and a body mass so low that bones are visible. SCP-5824's skin excretes a deadly toxin that will subdue any biological creatures around it, including humans, into a deathly ill state. Through < 4 > tests it was concluded that to stay unaffected by SCP-5824's toxins the subject must be completely covered and only allowed to be around the specimen for at most an hour. Any exposure to skin, nose, mouth, or eyes will give an opportunity for some kind of terminal illness to overwhelm them and in under 24-hours the subject WILL die.
SCP-5824 appears in nearly constant distress, refusing to sleep, eat, and regularly attempts to cause harm to self, or in some cases, self-terminate. Under exceptional stress, the specimen will attempt to harm any living thing around it as what can be assumed as a coping mechanism. Any attempt to ease the distress of the specimen has been ineffective.
