Special Containment Procedures: Due to the unresponsive nature of SCP-5426's parent company, Aisling Property Holdings, Inc., the Foundation has been unable to legally purchase the property so far. However, no efforts have been made by Aisling Property Holdings, Inc. to prevent the Foundation from barring public entry to SCP-5426.
As such, a wall comprised of 6 meter-tall corrugated steel spikes should be assembled on the perimeter of the property, and a constant rotation of 10 Foundation security personnel should be stationed around the building at all times to prevent attempted entry from the general public. Under no circumstances should any Foundation staff attempt to enter SCP-5426 without explicit authorization.
Description: SCP-5426 is the Pleasure Palm Regional Mall, located on the outskirts of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The building features approximately 40,000 sq/m of floor space, including dozens of sectioned areas for small stores, a food court, and an ornamental fountain in the center of the mall
The mall was initially discovered by the Foundation on 06/02/1997, when the Bristol County Sheriff's Office recieved more than 200 missing persons reports in a 48-hour window. The high volume of missing persons quickly attracted the attention of the SCP Foundation, who were able to trace more than 50 of those cases back to the
