Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 5m x 5m humanoid containment cell with the entire cell soundproofed for personnel safety, an operational sprinkler system is in place with appropriate drainage in place to prevent flooding.
SCP-XXXX is not to gain access to any object resembling a plant, neither is SCP-XXXX's research station to contain plants of any sort, any personnel seen smuggling plants into the vicinity are to be turned away immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 7-foot tall humanoid plant with the head of a Venus fly trap, it has no visible eyes, throat, muscular structure, or circulatory system. but somehow has the ability to make noise from its mouth.
SCP-XXXX is made of a vine like substance, but matching no known earth-based flora, SCP-XXXX's supposed sentience is yet undetermined, and is theorized to be a result of it's primal instinct.
When the needs of SCP-XXXX are not met, it lets out an extremely loud high-pitched screech which terminates any personnel within a 300-meter radius, with all the victim's blood exiting their body through their ear.
The needs of SCP-XXXX are that every 10 hours the creature requires watering from the containment cells sprinkler system,. after being watered for approximately 30 seconds, SCP-XXXX enters a dormant state of some variety, after the 10 hours are over, it will survey the surrounding area for a few seconds before almost immediately going back to screaming.
When in its screaming state SCP-XXXX is able to use any plants in the area as a sort of projector, to enhance the volume of its screeching, fake plastic plants are also susceptible to being used by SCP-XXXX. the method for which it is able to do this is yet to be determined.
When tested, SCP-XXXX shows no sign of any feats of physical strength, and is able to be moved by personnel very easily. tests on the durability of SCP-XXXX have concluded that it has the same durability as any normal earth-based vines, yet has an almost instant healing factor. Tests on SCP-XXXX's healing factor are to only be taken out when in a completely controlled situation, as even in the 10 hour dormant period, SCP-XXXX will let out short bursts of screams, but only loud enough to temporally deafen personnel.
Additional notes;SCP-XXXX was first discovered by the Foundation in the town of ██████ on the 11/7/20██, when local police files reported the sightings of a "skinny green guy" or "walking plant man" wandering around multiple residents properties, with it fleeing when confronted. reports of the entity were quickly picked up by the foundation, with Site-25 retrieval teams dispatched shortly after. SCP-XXXX was taken into containment with rather ease, with no signs of resistance when transported.
As to the origin of the anomaly known as SCP-XXXX, evidence is scarce, but unusual plant growth in the area was reported, and an extreme amount of overgrowth in an incredibly short amount of time may have lead to it's creation. but as of yet, origin unknown.
