Dr. Normal

Item #: SCP-????

Object Class: Euclid

NOTE: I don't care how close you were to the Doctor, you are not to treat him like a friend anymore. All previous colleagues of Dr. [REDACTED] are suspended from interacting with SCP-? until further notice. - Dr. Hyles

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-? is to be kept in a padded humanoid containment cell, and is to be given basic amenities. Cameras must be monitoring the cell at all times.Due to its remarkable nature and potential value to the foundation, staff must have at least Level 4 Security Clearance in order to interact with SCP-?. SCP-? is not to be tested with any anomalies that cause physical damage of any kind unless approved of by an O5 Council Member and guarded by no less than 3 (Three) Facility Guards.

Dr. Kravale, SCP-?'s personal therapist, is obligated to consult it once a week for no less than 45 (Fourty-Five) minutes in order to keep its' mind at ease. Should Kravale fall ill or expire, a new or substitute therapist is to replace him within 24 hours. No interruptions are to be made during therapy sessions, and all sessions are expected to be recorded with discretion.

Description: SCP-? is an ordinary Caucasian male, previously known as Dr. [REDACTED], with a height of 1.8 meters, and weight of 184lbs. Subject is capable of all standard human functions, and shows no sign of disabilities, physical or mental. (See Addendum ????-3)

SCP-? is immune to any and all anomalous effects (with the exception of those that cause on-contact damage via physical combat.) Full body scans and interviews have thus far been completely unsuccessful in finding the cause of this. Every time SCP-? is questioned about how it survived its' encounters, it enters a very defensive, guilty state which can become hostile if not taken care of and calmed down properly. Regardless, SCP-? is a completely normal and functional being. Test logs are awaiting declassification.

Recovery Log: SCP-? was discovered as a previous staff member of the Facility during a containment breach, when security footage caught it making direct contact with [REDACTED], running away shortly afterwards. Following the breach it was apprehended and questioned. (See Addendum ?-1)

Addendum-?-1

The following review was conducted by Dr. Hyles after the initial investigation. SCP-? Was shown the surveillance footage of his contact with [REDACTED] before the log began recording.

Interviewer: Dr. Hyles, Site-15

Interviewee: SCP-?

[BEGIN LOG]

SCP-?: So if we're gonna be sitting here for a while can I at least get us some coffee before we start?

Dr. Hyles: You’re not going anywhere until you give us the information we require. Explain the feed our cameras captured.

SCP-?: What? Oh, where that big sludgy guy grabbed me, so? You saw. I’m fine. (Holds his hands up to the separation glass and turns them) See? Not even a scratch on me.

Dr. Hyles: (Silence)

SCP-?: Alright. Well, I ran off into a corridor trying to hide from it, but it kept appearing out of every other goddamn wall I passed. Everything was rotting. Honest to God, I never got around to researching that one. Kinda weird considering it's one of the most dangerous in the foundation. Man. I wish I had gotten to that one sooner. Anyway, I was sure I had eluded it until I got into the corridor that wouldn't open. I didn't have enough clearance. It started walking real creepy-like towards me. I knew it would've killed me if I didn't do something.

Dr. Hyles: But why didn’t it, [REDACTED]? It has no higher intelligence and quite frankly it has taken every subject its' been introduced to just by touching them.

SCP-?: You of all people are asking these questions? I’m lucky to be alive. Like I said, it could've killed me.

Dr. Hyles: (Visibly unnerved) It should have. You should be dead. Its' killed hundreds. It can't play favorites, all it knows is murder and kill. (Long pause) To conclude this interview, Dr. [REDACTED], I'd like to make it clear that the O5 Council has revoked your employment to this facility until further notice. In the meantime, you will be subjected to tests involving- (Cut off by SCP-4029.)

SCP-?: (Choking on his words)Wh-what? No, please! I didn't even agree to this!

Dr. Hyles: You didn't need to agree to this. You lacked the competence to defend your fellow researchers and refuse to give us very important information we need that could prevent more slaughters during containment breaches. (At this point of the interview, Facility Guards arrive at the location to bring SCP-? to temporary containment, under instruction of the O5 Council.)

SCP-?: What are you doing? Let go of me. (SCP-? places his hands onto the separation glass) You can't do this. I'm a human being! I have a family! No! Stop! Please!

[SCP-?'s voice fades away shouting and the room becomes increasingly silent]

Dr. Hyles: Not anymore.

Test Log ????.OC.1

Object: SCP-4514

Test Record:
SCP-???? is introduced into SCP-4514's cell, restrained and sedated. a major incision, 1cm deep and 8cm long, is made into its' left abdomen. SCP-4029 loses 40% of its' blood without expiring. Test concluded and SCP-4029 is put on temporary life support.

NOTE: SCP-???? survived the anomalous effects and made a full recovery despite extreme blood loss and physical trauma. - Dr. Hyles

Test Log ????.OC.2

Object: SCP-3509

Test Record:
SCP-? is escorted to SCP-3509 and is told to defy any orders it is given inside. SCP-3509 gives the order "tapdance" at a time limit of 2 minutes. SCP-? refuses and sits down for the allocated 2 minutes. When the time limit reaches zero, the entire chamber began to flash its' red alarm lights. SCP-? appears startled but is unaffected. Lights abruptly cease flashing after 10 minutes. SCP-? is then given the order "Write the letter N on a piece of paper" to which Dr. Hyles gives permission to exit the chamber. SCP-? complies and exits, completely unharmed by any anomalous effects.

NOTE: The next test subject to enter SCP-3509 was dissolved into ashes almost instantaneously. Perhaps he doesn't 'absorb' the effects as we first thought. Maybe it's some sort of shield, similar to SCP-714. - Dr. Hyles
