SCP-5309-1 is to be kept in a standard 5x5x5 meter humanoid containment cell sealed with two (2) blast doors. The walls and floor are made of solid titanium three (3) inches thick due to SCP-5309-1s strength. There are to be no walls or spaces to hide in SCP-5309-1s containment chamber. During testing, eye contact is to be made by at least two (2) individuals other than the test subject. During SCP-5309's hostile times, testing is prohibited unless approved by Level 4 personnel or higher. Due to the anomalous properties of SCP-5309-1, camera surveillance is impossible. SCP-5309-1 is currently housed in Site ██
Due to the nature of SCP-5309-2, containment is currently impossible. It is estimated that SCP-5309-2 will never be contained.
Description:
SCP-5309 is currently made of two separate parts, designated SCP-5309-1 and SCP-5309-2
SCP-5309-1 is a one and a half (1.5) meter tall stuffed bear with two (2) plastic eyes and a light brown color. Attached to SCP-5309 is a worn white paper tag, measuring 2.5 x 4.5 inches. Printed on the tag is the name "Boo" which is assumed to be the bear's name. Subjects who come into contact with SCP-5309-1 describes it as "abnormally large" and "scary"
There are three (3) anomalous effects of SCP-5309-1 that have been discovered.
- SCP-5309-1 has the ability to move and speak despite the fact that it is made of cotton and no mechanical or physical features that would allow it to do so. SCP-5309-1s talking features are limited, and it is predicted that it has the mental power of an average 6-year-old child. SCP-5309-1 visibly enjoys speaking in the third person and uses the phrase "Ye-Ye-YEAH!" multiple times a day. It is unknown why it does this. SCP-5309-1 has immeasurable strength, and it is estimated that it can break a 1" thick scrap of steel if it wanted to.
- SCP-5309-1 can disrupt camera and/or recording equipment within a thirty (30) meter radius. The effect produced is similar to static, but the effect appears to have a red/black color scheme. It has been observed that a semi-transparent picture of SCP-5309-1 occasionally appears on top of the static effect for a short period of time. This makes the recording of SCP-5309-1s doings impossible, but it may be possible as the foundation progresses its technology.
- SCP-5309-1 has the ability to travel between dimensions when eye contact with it is broken. The dimension it travels to is deemed SCP-5309-2. SCP-5309-1 cannot apparently travel to any spot different from where it was transported to SCP-5309-2, hence the fact that it is contained. The ability for SCP-5309-1 to do this is clearly unlimited as long as it is in its attack state.
SCP-5309-1 has three (3) states. Named Dormant, Active, and Hostile.
During its Dormant state, SCP-5309-1 will stay inanimate and not make any movements. Weirdly during this time, SCP-5309-1 will secrete an odor similar to the Lavandula plant. It is unknown why it does this.
In its active state, SCP-5309-1 will walk around at a speed of 1.5 km/hr and speak occasionally. Its form of walking is known to be inhuman. It will point its snout toward the ceiling and rest its arms straight down. During this time, SCP-5309-1 can be interviewed, and it has been multiple times. Many interviewees describe its tone as "Excited" and "Delightful"
SCP-5309-1s last state is hostile. In this state, SCP-5309-1 will lunge at any human within its line of sight and attempt to "capture" them, usually using extreme strength and speed. During this state, SCP-5309-1 has been observed to travel at speeds of up to 20 mph. Once out of direct eye line of any other human other than the victim, SCP-5309-1 will travel to its own dimension, known as SCP-5309-2.
SCP-5309-1 will enter these states at certain times. Stated below:
- Dormant: 23:15 ET - 18:03 ET
- Active: 18:03 ET - 19:32 ET
- Hostile: 19:32 ET - 23:15 ET
SCP-5309-2 is known as a pocket dimension. It appears to be a medieval torture room filled with various torture devices. These include:
- One guillotine
- Two brazen bulls
- One rack
- Three pillories
- One Iron Maiden
Supposedly, there are a few more devices, but they are yet to have a name. These devices are thought to be created by SCP-5309-1. A door, approximately 2.5x1 meters, resides on the north wall of SCP-5309-1. This door is currently observed to be impossible to open by any human.
Upon entry into SCP-5309-2, the victim will be tortured in various ways, changing for each new victim, by SCP-5309-1. The victim will be tortured until one of the following events happens:
- The victim dies
- SCP-5309-1 enters its dormant state
- 1 hour and 27 minutes have passed
Upon the victim dying, SCP-5309-1 will open the door and throw the victim's body through the doorway. However, if one of the last two events happen, the victim and SCP-5309-1 will be transported back to the common dimension in the exact place they disappeared. Upon entering the common dimension, a blinding light will fill the room, temporarily blinding anyone witnessing. The victim 60% of the time will not recall any memories about the experience in SCP-5309-2.
SCP-5309-1 was recovered in ████, Texas after an entire family went missing. SCP-5309 was bought for ██████ as a Christmas present. One day after receiving the gift, SCP-5309 [DATA EXPUNGED] the child before killing the entire family. Agent ██████ and a team of MTF were sent to retrieve SCP-5309-1. Upon retrieval, it was in its dormant state and caused no harm.
