special containment procedures: SCP XXXX is allowed access to be used to help the foundation with certain tasks during weekdays for 8 hours, due to his smart qualities he even gets paid for this and a good amount as well. His containment room which is 7 meters by 7 meters, is more like a dorm room than a holding cell, he can sleep there if he wants. He is also allowed to roam outside the foundation whenever he is not helping the foundation, but they prefer if he is within 25 kilometers from site 19, he can go farther but only with permission or if its a weekend. Though he is not allowed to reveal any of his anomalous abilities to the public, until further notice has been given. He also has a tracking device in his neck so the foundation can tell where he is, even if he is not currently in site 19. he also claims he has a dog nearly as old as he is but the location of which is yet to be revealed.
description: SCP XXXX is a human male who is 6'3" and looks to be 30 years of age, he has also scored a very high IQ when the foundation tested him. He has many anomalous machines inside of his body also known as SCP XXXX-1, that all connects to a small device that looks a screen that is on the wrist of his left arm. Thanks to the smart device on his wrist the foundation had found that his true name was Roger, he says he is prefered people call him that instead of his SCP designation number. He said that he was not born with this and in fact he invented the machine and he upgraded it over time to allow himself to live forever, because he said he wanted to witness the end of time. the smart device on him will notify him whenever he has a disease or injury, there has also been several nano bots inside of him that can attack anything that the body can't fight off naturally. Also he can go to a cryonic state for however long he wants. He can stand temperatures from as low as -273c to as high as 4000c. He has always been reporting to staff on why "time is the most dangerous game" and that there is nothing we can do to stop it. He said that only ones that live to the end of time will be able to know why.
[Report December 21st 2020]: It has been found that SCP XXXX has documented several important parts of the future, but in an parallel universe that died long ago, weather the events could happen is entirely unclear because our universe could have slightly different timelines. But whatever happened to that universe is documented on one of his apps on his smart device, in a first person point of view.
Update, August 30th 2070: I had this weird idea back when i was 16, about 50 years ago. Where i would construct this simple machine that you can surgically implant in a person to have it detect diseases and injuries so they can be addressed before they cause harm. like i know the average human lifespan is 110 but i honestly think i could live longer, and hell mabie if i upgrade it a few times mabie i could even live forever.
Update, September 16th 2076: I put the machine inside of me, you know it took a while, but who cares i'm rich now with all the time in the world so when you have the stuff to build a crazy machine, why not do it!
Update, September 2nd 2112: Well, 12 of my smart friends decided to take part in my journey to the end of time with me by also having my machine inside of their systems. Good timing cause i made an upgrade where you can go in a cryonic state for as long as you like, and i put in some parts that can warm your blood so you can survive in cold temperatures. Insulation helps so I can survive temperatures from as cold as -90c to as hot as 90c. I started working for the SCP foundation by sending SCP's to new sites like the ones on mercury, venus, moon, mars, pluto, and proxima B. Why did i work for the foundation, well when i made a few posts on my anomalous procedure, the foundation made me keep it a secret and asked if they could use my help. the site on proxima B was made in 2078, and brought SCP's that people could use as a bad thing. like someone asked SCP 294 for 42 different types of dinosaur blood and caused jurassic park all over again. the foundation did not really kill the dinosaurs, but they made him lie about how he got the dinosaur blood as a cover story.
Update, January 1st, 3000: I made a special update for wide 3k. decided to add some more metals a components and it now lets me survive in temperatures as cold as -273c to as hot as 4000c. I made a new artificial organ that can turn anything into breathable air. I also do not need food or water anymore. I can see in the dark and can hear as well as a dog. but some things do come at a price. like now before you die you can be in a simulation or in a robot or something. but back then i had to watch almost everyone i knew die. some lived long enough for the simulation technology even if they did not have my procedure. but the only ones i did give my procedure was 12 friends and family and my dog, who has been living for 945 years.
Update, June 21st 5193: yellowstone erupted and there is ash cloud blanketing the atmosphere. it gonna take a while to clean it up. even being an advanced civilization it gonna take a while to deal with all of this. While my friends went to evacuate I stayed to work on my final update, which was infinite knowledge. After i was done I walked around and saw damaged foundation sides where I saw several SCP's can even start going. I knew that eventually entropy would effect them. others got thrown away. but this is what i either saw with my own eyes, or stuff the foundation made that i read
SCP 106: an advancing civilization made it angry that it could no longer catch people, and when yellowstone erupted and lots of people left earth, it depressingly walked into its pocket dimension, never to return.
SCP 096: after an incident that had been expunged the foundation got so mad at it that they dropped it into intergalactic space moving away from the milky way at a speed of 30000 kilometers a second.
SCP 173: due to a storm, it had to be moved from a site where they tested SCP's. but it broke out of the containment cell on the plane it was being shipped in where it was supposed to be headed back for site 19. it got to the cockpit and killed the pilot causing the co-pilot to lock it in the cockpit as the plane plunged into the ocean. more people died from the crash then from 173, talk about plane safety. anyways when the plane sank, none of the survivors found the statue. No one could locate the plane at the bottom of the ocean where the co-pilot locked SCP 173 in.
SCP 087: There was this large concrete platform was once a campus. There was a sinkhole that was probably 7 meters wide and at the center was SCP 087. i could tell because i dug up an old file cabinet with the stairwell's information. like how light was supposed to be absorbed and how there was a sound of a crying child. but i did not see light being absorbed because i used a 150 watt flashlight and lit up everything fine and i head nothing in the stairwell, it was silent. I did see lots of sand and rock and concrete on the landings and the flights of stairs, due to the slowly collapsing stairwell. that night i got a message from my friends that they found my location and that they could pick me up the next morning.
SCP 049: I saw a mask early that morning, and when i woke up a little better i saw it was SCP 049. he said that he did not see pestilence in me and walked away after giving me a firm handshake. 30 seconds later a spaceship got me off earth.
Update, May 10th 5203710701: we had to move the earth farther from the sun or the earth itself would get eaten by the sun. we wanted to preserve the earth and after billions of years civilization has the technology to do so.
Update, July 16th 7291802087: the sun had exploded, and all that is left of it is a small dense ball of heat, no larger than the earth. the fate of our sun is the same as for all stars.
Update, 1 trillion years: the first red dwarf died, after all the last big stars die only at this big length of time does it take the first red dwarfs to finally start going.
update, 10 trillion years: our civilization cant reach anyone beyond the virgo supercluster, the universe has simply expanded to far to contact or even see them. sence habitable systems are easy to form around red dwarfs there has been way more intelligent civilizations that have no evidence that there is anyone outside the supercluster. time feels so long at this point that me and my friends agree that a billion years feels like nothing. only my dog hasnt come to this realization.
update, 100 trillion years: the last red dwarf has faded away. now all we have are black holes, neutron stars, drown dwarfs, and yes those aging white dwarfs the last natural heat in the universe. we have now entered the degenerate era.
update, 1 sextillion years: now even at this point even the white dwarfs all start to fade into black dwarfs. stars that are so cold and so dense that they barely emit any heat or light.
update, 1 decillion years: systems are dis arranged and all planets no longer have a star. black holes will eat anything that does not escape them. but now at this point they are our only major sources of energy.
update, 10^40 years: the black hole era, where black holes dominate the galaxy where they are the one of the only options for civilizations to get energy. But now at this point you could have black holes so large they are 100 trillion times more massive then the sun.
update, 10^67 years: black holes are not immortal eventually hawking radiation will slowly strips the black holes apart. The smaller scale ones at first but then the larger ones go too.
update, 10^100 years: only the most massive black holes are left now. we have tried to use an atom smasher to make a gateway to another universe. but all we had were black holes to power it. every last being in our super cluster was there to watch the opening of the gateway. but hawking radiation had affected the black hole so badly that the method they were using on it caused it to explode. and destroyed god knows how many people. i was in the rocket with my friends and my dog was running after me as we both hopped into the escape pod knowing that we were probably far enough from the destruction site to survive but the pod was damaged and we were running low on energy. And i decided we go to the planet spinning in the dark void known as earth. we crash landed into it and I walked around for a few days until i saw a large reptile creature that said "you can hate life forever, but only when its all gone is when you miss it". i walked toward a hill and turned on settings on my dog's smart device and put in sleep until someone wakes you up, which is a setting that puts you in a cryonic state until someone woke you up. I was about to do the same for me and i said "i am the last man in the universe" before going asleep.
update, 10^106 years: i felt light hit my face and i heard a voice, "its the new beginning my friend". It was SCP 049 standing on a dead earth that was being lit up by a gateway to another universe. but on the other side it was illuminated by light from a new formation happening. "that will be a new big bang" SCP 049 said. "the gateway leads to a universe, like this one at our beginning but somethings will be different, your friends are already there but for you it will be a new journey." i heard the plague doctors words and it stuck with me as i watched me move through the gateway along with the earth.
[NEW] August 31st 2004: I woke up on a grassy hill and my dog was trying to tear at something and it was a packet of a short story that read: The Most Dangerous Game, by Richard Connell. I remember reading that a long time ago. thinking about how sence man could reason, man was the most dangerous game. i sat on a picnic table. and thought that man was created by time, any civilization could be. but time causes things get destroyed over time and causes dangerous things to happen if you try to alter the past and time is un huntable, and dire things will happen if you think otherwise. So then i said "it all makes sense now, time is the most dangerous game".
