Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4780 is to be kept in a locked container which is located at Site-██. Subjects can only be exposed to SCP-4780 if given approval from a Level-5 personnel. A maximum of 2 subjects can be exposed to SCP-4780.
Description: SCP-4780 is a glow stick that hasn't stopped producing light since it was activated on ██/██/19██. It is unknown how the item doesn't stop producing light. The item is made out of hard plastic, ██████ and ██████. SCP-4780 was originally captured on a grass field in Bogota, Colombia by a group of researchers. SCP-4780 is approximately 5 inches long and 1.5 inches thick.
If a subject stares at SCP-4780 longer than 15 minutes. longer than 15 minutes time staring into the object, the subjects eyes will start to burn. After roughly 20 minutes of staring at the item, the eyes of the subject will have melted completely and the subject will become completely blind.
Subjects who interact with SCP-4780 are to go through eye examination. Subjects must have healthy eyes before exposure to SCP-4780 to avoid any confusion with the results of a test performed by a researcher.
Incident 4780-01:
SCP-4780 breached containment on ██/██/19██ when one D-class personnel had stolen it and handed it over to fellow D-class personnel. A total of 3 D-class personnel have been wounded, and 1 D-class personnel got had eyes melted. 2 days later on ██/██/19██ the item was found and brought back to it's containment. █ Days later, ████████ personnel found out who stole the item, it turned out to be D-166

D-116: I need to see it!
D-116 lunges for the box, but the guards quickly seized him
Interviewer: D-116. Why do you want to see it?
D-116 begins to scream and flail wildly while staring at the box
D-116: Let me see it!
D-116's eyes abruptly melt, rendering him blind and unconscious<End Log, ██:██>
