Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a glass room roughly 20 feet³ and 4 inches thick which is to be suspended in another room 50 feet³. SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3 must be held by their strings by at least one live human at all times. SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3 are to never have their strings separated, if separated refer to Retrieval Method. Always have personnel on standby in the case of SCP-XXXX getting bored with its current "holder". Only personnel of security clearance 3 or higher are permitted to enter.

Description:SCP-XXXX was found in New York, New York on the sidewalk of the outskirts of the city. SCP-XXXX are three balloons attached to strings, with the actual balloon parts always touching(unless the strings are not being held together). If SCP-XXXX-2(green balloon) and SCP-XXXX-3(yellow balloon) are not being held together by a human they emit a gas that is unidentified but highly corrosive and poisonous. SCP-XXXX-1 is a red balloon which doesn't seem to release any gas when it's string is not held. When the strings are not held together the balloons release their gas and float around, ( but they never get to far from each other).

SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3 are all aware of their surroundings and seem to only attempt to go toward humans when their strings are not held. Any attempt to tie the balloon strings together have all failed as the balloons themselves seem to untie their strings. While the gases inside the balloons can not be confirmed, they are believed to be the gases they emit when their strings are not held.

Attempts so far to touch the balloons directly have all resulted in death through [((REDACTED))].

The "holder" of SCP-XXXX is the current person holding it. SCP-XXXX gets bored of its "holders" quickly and needs new ones, if new "holders" are not provided SCP-XXXX releases it's gases even if the old "holder" is holding it's strings. SCP-XXXX is seen to shake violently when it is getting bored of its current "holder"

Retrieval Method:In the event of SCP-XXXX being separated and killing its "holder" security personnel equipped with gas masks are to swiftly gather SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3 and hand all their strings to one person. That person is to hold them together until told otherwise or until SCP-XXXX gets bored of him.
