this is a artistic representation of SCP-XXXX as depicted by SCP-XXXX themself
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in a 15ft x 15ft x 15ft concrete confinement cell with interior walls needing to be checked once a week for damage. Any damage, no matter how miniscule, must be patched immediately. SCP-XXXX may leave confinement with clearance of level three researcher, and must be supervised by two guards armed with stun guns with voltage output of greater than 10,000 volts at all times. SCP-XXXX must be kept on site ███ at all times.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a middle-aged, well built, Caucasian male, approximately 340cm tall, with blonde hair and golden eyes. subject appears to be in late 20's but has said to be 2600 years old. in an interview it has asked to be called Prometheus by the staff when interacting with it, and such has been no problem to the team assigned (see interview XXXX-A for full interview. It is dressed in a white wrap of fabric that SCP-XXXX refers to as a "chiton". Removing the chiton has been proved unsuccessful, as soon as it is removed, a new one appears in its place ).
SCP-XXXX was found in a artists studio in ██████, Canada, on ██/██/████. The Foundation was alerted of SCP-XXXX from a police report by the owner of the studio being attacked by "living art". When interviewed by the Special-OPS team deployed to the location, the owner said that a statue came alive when he touched it, grabbed his arm, and dragged him to the door. The owner was given a Class B amnestic and SCP-XXXX was taken into custody.
SCP-XXXX is able to create entities it calls "golems" out of any solid material given to it. When material has been shown to SCP-XXXX and asked to create an entity out of it, SCP-XXXX raises its arms and the material present begins to undergo a process of assembling itself into a vaguely humanoid form, with distinct limbs, torso, and a head. The process doesn't seem to cause any physical strain for SCP-XXXX.
The entities that are created vary with the materials given, with different abilities and functionality. those created with fewer materials display only basic motor functions, while some created with many materials have displayed almost human-like intelligence. When SCP-XXXX was asked about this, it was recorded to have said "the more detail in a golem, the more it acts on its own." various tests were conducted to verify this statement (see addendum SCP-XXXX-1 for a complete listing of tests with various materials).
Interview: XXXX-A
Note: the following interview was salvaged from the video camera data chip used in the interview, the camera itself was rendered useless by an unknown electrical pulse from within the room.
Interviewer: Dr. S███████ █████
Interviewee: SCP-XXXXForeword: The following is an interview conducted between SCP-XXXX and Dr. S███████ █████ upon SCP-XXXX's arrival to site ███.
>Begin Log<
interview commences at ██:██ AM, ██/██/████
Dr. S███████ █████: Good morning XXXX, I hope the travel here was pleasant.
SCP-XXXX: It was good, and please, call me Prometheus.
Dr. S███████ █████: Very well, Prometheus, I have some questions that I need you to answer to the best of your ability.
SCP-XXXX: Of course.
Dr. S███████ █████: Question one, we have information that you are able to create Living Art, is this true?
SCP-XXXX: No.
Dr. S███████ █████: No? would you elaborate please?
SCP-XXXX: I don't make "Living Art". I make golems, which are completely different. they need direction to operate, some less than others.
Dr. S███████ █████: I see, question two, have you always have this power? If not, could you explain where you got it?
SCP-XXXX: I was born with it, 2600 years ago, and have had it ever since.
Dr. S███████ █████: (stammers in surprise) Did you say 2600 years?
SCP-XXXX: Yes.
Dr. S███████ █████: Very well, last question for today, would you give a demonstration of your abilities?
SCP-XXXX: (nods head)
( a case of pencils is placed in front of SCP-XXXX)
(SCP-XXXX looks at the pencils, than closes his eyes)
ERROR: audio and visual feed cut.
CAUSE: unknown.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-1
The following is a list of tests confirming SCP-XXXX's anomalous powers with various materials.
