Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained within a Reinforced Humanoid Containment Cell in Research Sector-05 at Site-22: the walls and ceiling of which must be made of high-grade titanium 6.5 meters thick and checked weekly for any sign of damage. In the event damage or transport occurs, SCP-XXXX must be heavily sedated and restrained within a Class IV Humanoid Restriction Harness (including titanium braces around the arms and legs, along with a locking shock collar capable of administering no less than 50,000 volts) and monitored by no fewer than four armed guards.
While SCP-XXXX is generally cooperative with several Foundation personnel, outbursts or sudden changes in behavior are to be met with extreme caution. Under no circumstances should any personnel remain within the Containment Chamber during one of these outbursts. In the event SCP-XXXX begins to show signs of anxiety or aggression, all personnel are to immediately evacuate the Containment Chamber before the entity is administered Pine (Pinus) in a gaseous form via the Chamber’s Ventilation System, as the scent appears to have a calming effect on it. Once calmed, SCP-XXXX generally ceases all forms of communication and returns to its previously docile state, before retreating further into the confines of its Containment Chamber.
In order to felicitate the ongoing containment of SCP-XXXX, the entity is to be provided with various physical and mental stimuli several times weekly, ranging from extreme physical exertion, to being required to solve nearly-impossible puzzles (see Addendum XXXX.1A) within a specific time limit. SCP-XXXX is no longer permitted to interact with any organic enrichment unsupervised, and requests for organic enrichment are to be approved by Level 5 personnel or O-5 and must be kept at a distance no nearer than eight meters with no less than four armed guards present at all times upon approval.
Temporary Containment Procedure Update: (See Addendum XXXX.2B) Per Containment Order XXXX.S22.18.3, SCP-XXXX is no longer permitted to interact with SCP-682 in any way, nor is it to interact directly with Foundation personnel, with the exception of aforementioned Containment Procedures. Until such time a pending inquiry regarding the ongoing containment of SCP-XXXX can be approved or denied.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity, roughly 1.6 meters in height, which takes the form of a young Caucasian woman in her mid-twenties with shoulder-length burgundy hair, well-toned physique and prominent incisors on the upper jaw approximately 0.4 inches in length. While SCP-XXXX appears to be wearing a black and red costume bearing wing and tail-like appendages with a beak-like hood, the garments appear to be directly connected to SCP-XXXX’s body, and are incapable of being removed without causing extreme pain to the entity. Extensive testing indicates that while resembling and acting like cloth, the material is entirely organic in nature: though no attempts of collecting tissue samples have been successful.
SCP-XXXX is capable of speech in a variety of languages, though tends to prefer English, Gaelic or German. While SCP-XXXX is generally docile and cooperative with Foundation staff, it will instantly become agitated and aggressive when exposed to any medical staff or equipment designed to inject or extract, especially if its restrained for routine exams or testing. Although the reasons for this unprovoked behavior is currently unknown to Foundation researchers, additional protocols regarding the entity’s psychological triggers are currently being rectified.
In addition to monumental strength, speed and stamina, SCP-XXXX is highly intelligent and is capable of exhibiting shapeshifting behaviors and healing itself at a rapid pace, including changing the appearance of its arms into a variety of forms, though it appears to only be capable of bladed weaponry and defensive measures, while other forms appear to be used for [REDACTED]. SCP-XXXX has also been documented to have a heightened sense of hearing, smell, and sight and is capable of changing its physical form into that of any organic organism it comes into contact with through a violent process similar to documented carnivorous flora, (see Addendum XXXX.1B) gaining its form, voice, and memories and will become hostile if it feels it’s in the presence of a threat or any organism of high value, regardless of its size or capability, as was the case with SCP-682 (see Addendum XXXX.2A).
If left unchecked, SCP-XXXX will attempt to kill any such individual, taking its form and adding the subject’s stature to its own by ‘melting’ itself in a writhing mass of oily, black vines. How this occurs is currently unknown, as SCP-XXXX leaves no trace of the subject’s body after such an encounter for researchers to examine. SCP-XXXX has expressed guilt, anger, and anxiousness after these killings, often crying to itself and shaking its head violently from side to side, as if to rid itself of an unheard noise. While SCP-XXXX is capable of shapeshifting, it has also been noted to violently transfer the oily substance into the body of subjects through several large, bladed, whip-like strands that seem to form from the entity’s back, resulting in the creation of instances of SCP-XXXX-2.
SCP-XXXX-2 instances are noted to appear to have duplicated abilities of SCP-XXXX on a much more feral, animalistic scale. These instances do not appear to retain any of their former memories, relying more on instinct and basic survival skills. While these instances generally stay near SCP-XXXX, moving erratically and emitting sounds similar to those found among pack animals as a form of communication, they will become extremely aggressive and attack anything in sight in a hivemind fashion, unless directed otherwise by SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-2 instances express highly accelerated biological functions, though these are vastly different from any understood human or animal physiology. Despite these behaviors, SCP-XXXX does not seem phased by its seemingly rabid counterparts and has even remarked them as “friendly” on several occasions.
Addendum XXXX.1: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was discovered during the investigation of a series of unexplained animal attacks in the city of Denver Colorado on 12/13/[REDACTED]. During a raid on an abandoned warehouse, investigators found several instances of SCP-XXXX-2 as well as SCP-XXXX brutally feasting and fighting over the remains of a local gang that had been causing problems in the local area. While law enforcement personnel engaged the hostile SCP-XXXX-2 instances, it was noted that SCP-XXXX itself seemed to be watching the exchange intently, almost as if it were committing the details of the exchange to memory. After all of the SCP-XXXX-2 instances were terminated, SCP-XXXX calmly entered Foundation custody.
