Threat level: Yellow Have you ever heard of the Edenites? Probably not, O-5 (I think) made damn sure they were never mentioned in the database, but I guarantee you've seen evidence of them before:
Special Containment Procedures: Site-31 has been built around SCP-X, no further precautions are necessary. First, what are they? Description: SCP-X is a cave located in Marie Byrd Land, Antarctica, which anomalously grows at a rate of one hundred (100) to one hundred fifty (150) cm\year, with new space being added at the entrance. The walls are covered in cave paintings, the pattern of which changes every one hundred (100) meters. Any attempts to enter SCP-X by boring a second entrance have resulted in the machines moving through normal soil as if the cave wasn't there instead. Plot twist: they were not the first sapience on the planet, not by a longshot! If you lack level 3 clearance, you might think I'm contradicting myself
Seemingly man-made reinforcements are present in the cave, these are made from a black stone with antimemetic properties, making accurate data interpretation in regards to the cave difficult. and if you do have clearance, you've probably rolled your eyes because you know about bigfoot already
Discovery: SCP-X was discovered in 18██ by [Redacted] on one of his Voyages. All information he brought back with him where intercepted and his crew interrogated. At this point construction of site-3 was already planned
