SCP-5413 prior to experimentation by Dr. S██████, see addendum

Description: SCP-5413 refers to an ██████ brand virtual reality headset, and two wireless touch controllers. While SCP-5413 has multiple cables, none of them need to be plugged in, as it appears SCP-5413 requires no tracking sensors, game input or power source for it to function.

When not in use, SCP-5413 appears inert, with no light being displayed through the lenses. However, once a subject is wearing SCP-5413, the screen displays a welcome message bearing the subject's forename, though no prompt to input their name has ever appeared in testing. After a few minutes, an entity designated SCP-5413-A appears, its appearance is always different, depending on the game manifested by SCP-5413, differing between users. Although its appearance differs, it always calls itself "Frankie" and interacts with the subject, referring to them using a name that is more personal than one one on the display text. Current speculation suggests SCP-5413-A is attempting to make itself endearing to the subject, retaining their attention so they become hesitant to leave the virtual space. After 15 minutes of using SCP-5413, any attempt to remove the headset causes the subject to immediately fall unconscious. Impact with the ground causes minor damage to SCP-5413, .
