Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Given the highly variable nature of SCP-XXXX manifestations, any contact between Foundation personnel and any anomalies presently contained are to be severely limited. Measures to enforce this are: banning the cross-testing of anomalies, reducing tests conducted with D-Class Personnel and amending containment procedures to negate the need for human contact as well as the regular replacement and disposal of materials used in Foundation installations and containment cells.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon observed within Foundation personnel and facilities, owing to prolonged exposure to entities and objects that do not conform to consensus reality. It is theorized that the distortion in consensus reality is not wholly contained to the anomaly in question but has the propensity to cause further damage to surrounding reality. This "distortion effect" has the ability to cause the growth and development of anomalous properties in both organic and inorganic materials. The distortions noted as SCP-XXXX seem to bear no correlation between the prior anomaly, as a result Safe-Class Objects may have the potential to cause unprecedented damage via the spread of SCP-XXXX

The effects of SCP-XXXX distortions seem to manifest at random in personnel and objects, so testing to observe patterns of anomalous development has proven difficult. However, it is known that repeated exposure to anomalies increases the likelihood of an SCP-XXXX manifestation, as per the previously noted theory.

The specific observances caused by SCP-XXXX have been broadly classed into 3 categories, denoted by the labels SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-C. SCP-XXXX-A occurrences note instances where through anomalous contact an object previously not observed to be anomalous gains an unknown property after contact with a known anomaly. SCP-XXXX-B occurrences note instances where
