+ Revision 11-2

The access site where SCP-XXXX is located must be constantly monitored by a special surveillance team with special Level-04 clearance granted to all individuals authorized to access the perimeter. No other subject without authorization and credentials granted by one of the members of BODATT-31¹ will be able to access the area. A minimum of 40 members are required to form the team. Any interaction with any component of SCP-XXXX performed without authorization from all members of BODATT-31 is prohibited and violation of the protocol will result in severe penalties.

Sensors for temperature, pressure, oxygenation and nerve action probes need to be installed on the outer surfaces of SCP-XXXX-1 and handled by a special group of the surveillance team. To facilitate containment procedures involving SCP-XXXX, Observation Post-861²was built close to the underground entrance that leads to the location of the components. Antennas for external and internal communication are authorized to be installed at Observation Post-861. None of the sensory equipment or antennas used must emit radiofrequency waves above 374KHz to avoid resulting in the awakening of SCP-XXXX-4. All waves that exceed this limit must be immediately intercepted by a jammer installed at Observation Post-861.

In the event of awakening of SCP-XXXX-4 from its hibernation state, MTF Epsilon-11 "Nine-Tailed Fox" available at Sector-31 component facilities closest to Observation Post-861 needs to be triggered to contain SCP-XXXX-4 as soon as possible. The Mobile Task Force needs to avoid the approaching of SCP-XXXX-4 in any area of human development close to the Sector-31 region. The Foundation will request the Israeli, Saudi and Egyptian Government to evacuate any inhabited area close to the location of SCP-XXXX-4(mainly from the eastern region of the Sinai Peninsula and the Gulf of Aqaba) and the cooperation of the military forces of the mentioned countries to contain the anomaly.

If the containment attempt is successful, SCP-XXXX-4 must be carefully transported to Area-225 with the presence and supervision of the Mobile Task Force. All military personnel who participated in cooperation to contain the anomaly must be brought to the Amnestic Research Center of Sector-31 to be amnesticizied, with the exception of members of the Mobile Task Force.

CONTAINMENT PROTOCOL FAILED

NOTE: Mobile Task Force from Sector-31 was unable to contain SCP-XXXX-4. It was necessary to cooperatively activate the Mobile Task Forces present in Sector-9, Area-73, Site-P/185, together with the support of MTF Nu-7 "Hammer Down" and MTF Epsilon-6 "Village Idiots". The second containment attempt was successful and SCP-XXXX-4 was transported to Area-225.

Due to the failure of the first containment protocol, the document was revised and new procedures were imposed.

The Containment Perimeter-41/225 must be built 510 meters below sea level and about 4.12 kilometers away from the main buildings in Area-225. The containment site must be located in a region away from any tectonic encounter where frequent seismological activity may occur and it must also be excavated in matrix rock and sandstone. Containment Perimeter-41/225 can be accessed through a 280-meter-long corridor divided by reinforced synthetic steel protection doors every 70 meters.

The corridor has a height of 6.5 meters and the walls are reinforced with five layers of special synthesized steel having 30 centimeters each and two layers of graphene and polyethylene 2.6 centimeters thick respectively. The outer underground part must be reinforced with a dense layer of concrete with 1 meter of thickness. The first and last door of the corridor must have an small rectangular acrylic window and a special thin layer of cut-resistant polished diamond on the outside of the acrylic layer. Between the second and third door of the corridor, there must be a Special Magnetic Repulsion Shield(SMRS) installed 35 meters away from each entrance. The SMRS can remain deactivated for only two hours in a day for recharging. Doors must be kept closed while the corridor is not in use.

The corridor must be connected to an elevator platform pit that allows access to the Containment Perimeter-41/225. The exterior and interior surfaces must also have a layer of coating equal to that of the corridor, with the outer layer of concrete protection being 1.24 meters thick. The elevator pit must be divided every 85 meters by special protection double gates composed of a platinum and gold alloy and a special synthesized steel base, each outer layer being 30 centimeters thick and the base 1 meter.

Due to high depth temperatures, a special cooling system must be installed for each set of layers of metallic materials, thus avoiding possible boiling, together with an special oxygenation system to prevent weakening of the concrete. When the platform and the access corridor are in use, a ventilation system will be necessary to maintain the temperature at 32 °C, individuals who used the corridors and the elevator platform must use special equipment for low oxygenation and must not stay for more than 53 minutes in the access corridor of the Containment Perimeter-41/225. The elevator platform pit that gives access to the containment site must be covered by an armored and explosion-resistant plug composed of steel and with 16.4 tons of mass when not in use. The steel plug must have a diameter of 25.6 meters so that it can fit perfectly at the entrance to the pit.

SCP-XXXX-4 must be contained in a special containment chamber at the end of the underground corridor of the Containment Perimeter-41/225. The chamber consists of a cube 20 meters high by 20 meters long by 20 meters wide, being covered by seven layers of synthesized steel 33 centimeters thick per layer, with an alloy of gold and platinum between the space of the first cubic layer of steel and in the innermost part being covered by a covering of polyethylene and graphene with both being 4 centimeters thick. Motion and vibration sensors must be installed between the third and fourth steel layers to assist in monitoring SCP-XXXX-4. No camera must be installed inside the anomaly containment chamber.

The chamber ceiling must be adapted to be opened in a double gate type, being specially coated by metal alloy and connected at the end of the main underground corridor of the Containment Perimeter-41/225. When the containment zone is not in use, a SMRS must be installed above the ceiling gate and must be kept constantly activated. At the request of BODATT-31, the Foundation will seek to avoid carrying out experiments involving SCP-XXXX-4 as much as possible due to severe complications in handling the anomaly and also in relation to its containment.

The outer surface area of the Containment Perimeter-41/225 must consist of the following components:

• A military base constituted of a special headquarters of the Mobile Task Force with military personnel trained in the handling of heavy weapons and strategy, as well as a storage of tactical weapons and armored vehicles.
• An administrative building consisting of a special surveillance center to monitor the activities of SCP-XXXX-4.
• An administrative building containing high-class employees from BODATT-31 to keep contact with the rest of Sector-31, also for special requests from the O5 Council and communication with nearby governments.
• An emergency siren in case of violation of containment of SCP-XXXX-4.
• An accommodation for the employees responsible for working on the Containment Perimeter-41/225.
• A special warehouse of the Department of Engineering, consisting of equipment and active employees for maintenance of the Containment Perimeter-41/225.
• A specialized nuclear reactor to supply the Containment Perimeter-41/225 (Built especially to supply the SMRSs that need a high energy work to be maintained). The reactor must be monitored and used by a special team of physicists and nuclear engineers from the Department of Energy, Department of Physics and the Department of Engineering.

Only employees with special Level-04 access credentials granted by BODATT-31 can access the Containment Perimeter-41/225. No interaction with SCP-XXXX-4 shall be carried out without the authorization of all members of BODATT-31. All individuals who disregard the restraining protocol orders must be severely punished. In the event of maintenance of the Containment Perimeter-41/225, all Sector-31 employees and officers must be alerted and all Mobile Task Force teams available throughout the facility complex must be prepared for possible containment violations of SCP-XXXX-4.

CONTAINMENT PROTOCOL FAILED

NOTE: Due again to SCP-XXXX-4 extremely aggressive behavior, the first containment attempt was unsuccessful. The Mobile Task Force available at the three facilities closest to Area-225 has been triggered to contain SCP-XXXX-4. The second containment attempt was successful(see Incident Log XXXX-02). SCP-XXXX-4 was transported to Area-114 due to the better containment conditions of the facility.

Due to the failure of the second containment protocol, the document was revised and new procedures were imposed.

DUE TO THE EXTREMELY HOSTILE BEHAVIOR PRESENTED BY SCP-XXXX-4, THE ANOMALY HAS HIGH RISK POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN LIFE AND EMPLOYMENT OF WORK. THE CREATION OF THE EXTERMINATION PROTOCOL WAS REQUESTED BY THE TEAM OF EMPLOYEES RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTAINING SCP-XXXX-4. REVISION 11-4

SCP-XXXX-4 must be destroyed as soon as possible in accordance with Protocol SCP-XXXX-XT approved by Command O5. There are currently no known means of neutralizing SCP-XXXX-4. Due to the high aggressiveness of the anomaly, its constant attempts at breach of containment, difficulty of containment and failure of previous protocols, SCP-XXXX-4 had to be transferred to Area-114. To maintain the safety of the population, the Foundation will use its best resources and the entire testing and containment zone will be set up and executed 150 kilometers away from human development areas. To facilitate the security of the SCP-XXXX protocols, a cooperation treaty was signed with the US and Canadian governments to assist in the event of a security breach or containment of the anomaly and also in the collaboration of the protocols. The agreement includes:

• Military availability, both in the infantry, naval and air sectors for cooperation in recontention operations
• Availability to supply the facilities. The management team from Area-114 must maintain contact with the national supply agencies, both energy and food, for the service's contribution in the security and containment sectors.
• Constant communication with government administration, information and security agencies for the protection of urban centers close to the limit containment zone.
• Request to use the best resources available in national reserves to maintain the facility, in addition to improving local engineering sectors.
• A secret bioscientific and chemoscientific collaboration for the production of amnestics to prevent a possible Broken-Masquerade-event after a containment violation.

SCP-XXXX-4 must be contained in a special containment perimeter located at 354m below sea level. A special surveillance team must be assembled to contribute to the special containment perimeter of SCP-XXXX-4. The surveillance team and all employees present in Area-114 must receive special weekly training in preparation for a possible attempt of containment violation of SCP-XXXX-4. An MTF squadron must be imposed in Area-114 in the event of a containment breach of SCP-XXXX-4. Any human development zone present on any strip of land close to about 124 kilometers from Area-114 must be evacuated immediately in accordance with the orders of the special containment protocol. Any unauthorized attempt to access the special containment perimeter of SCP-XXXX-4 must be stopped immediately by the surveillance team and the intruders must be punished.

Cameras and sensors must be installed in each room of the special containment perimeter. No cameras are allowed inside the containment cell of SCP-XXXX-4, only vibration, energy and movement sensors. The sensors will sound a siren in case of attempted containment violation of SCP-XXXX-4. In the event of a containment breach of SCP-XXXX-4, the Red Code³ procedures imposed by the current containment protocol must be followed by employees present in Area-114. Government facilities close to the limit zone should be warned in the event of a contaiment breach and members of the government should alert all inhabitants present in urbanized areas about 150km away from Area-114 to seek special shelter.

The containment cell of SCP-XXXX-4 must be 7m x 7m x 7m and its interior surfaces must be reinforced with 5 layers of synthetic steel capable of withstanding attempts of containment violation of SCP-XXXX-4. Each layer must have 30 cm thick. The first inner layers of the containment cell must be covered with a layer of graphene fiber and a layer of polyethylene fiber. Both should be 2 cm thick. No attempt to access the SCP-XXXX-4 containment cell is permitted. Any attempt of containment violation of SCP-XXXX-4 must be reacted with full force. In the case of experiments imposed by the members of the Extermination Project⁴, SCP-XXXX-4 must be transferred carefully to another test area. The surveillance team and the Mobile Task Force must be present throughout the process.

Any radio wave similar to 411kHz emitted in any communication device present in the containment perimeter of SCP-XXXX-4 must be intercepted as soon as possible. No individual should be exposed to radio waves.

The area where the first three components of SCP-XXXX are located must still remain closed and guarded and no other individual should access it.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a system of anomalies located in a tunnel about 12 kilometers away from the municipality of [REDACTED], in the extreme south of Israel. SCP-XXXX contains four components that will be listed below:⁵

SCP-XXXX-1 is an ancient structure similar to a tomb measuring 6 meters high by 3.65 meters wide composed of sandstone and other unidentified materials. The external surfaces of SCP-XXXX-1 are covered by scriptures and illustrations engraved on the sandstone. The patterns on the outside of SCP-XXXX-1 are believed to have been made by the the ancient Canaanite tribe of the Philistines between 960 and 800 BC. The scriptures appear to be written in an Asian-Eastern dialect derived from Latin although other texts appear to be written in an ancient Canaanite dialect. The present illustrations seem to refer to an event of biblical reference, where a Belemite citizen referred to as Dawidh⁶ would have thrown a stone at a member of the ancient Philistine tribe⁷ whose stature was considered to be larger than the standards of the time. According to the translated scriptures of SCP-XXXX-1, the "giant" was said to have been killed after being hit by the stone. The event refers to the attempted invasion of the Philistine army into Israel. Currently SCP-XXXX-1 is 46.7% damaged (see Incident Log XXXX-01)

SCP-XXXX-1 appears to have a cavity inside which can be accessed by removing SCP-XXXX-3 from SCP-XXXX-2. After opening the tomb, SCP-XXXX-4 can be found inside SCP-XXXX-1 in hibernation state. Currently SCP-XXXX-4 is no longer inside SCP-XXXX-1 (see Incident Log-XXXX-01).

SCP-XXXX-2 is an altar composed of sandstone and other unidentified materials located 5 meters ahead of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-2 contains a measurement of 1.31m in height. Engraved patterns of illustrations and scriptures similar to SCP-XXXX-1 can also be seen on the outer surfaces of SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-3 can be found placed above SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-3 is a semi-spherical object composed of an unknown material similar to a slag stone. The object contains an approximate diameter of 11.6 centimeters and a mass of approximately 111.4 grams. As stated earlier, SCP-XXXX-3 when removed from the upper surface of SCP-XXXX-2 can cause SCP-XXXX-1 to open. No means of mechanical or electrical connection between SCP-XXXX-3, SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-1 is apparent to allow the opening of SCP-XXXX-1, thus being able to open the tomb anomalously.

SCP-XXXX-4 is a humanoid with apparently male anatomy having a height of 3.11 meters and a wingspan of 2.79 meters that was previously inside SCP-XXXX-1 in hibernation state(see Incident Log- XXXX-01). Although SCP-XXXX-4 appears to have a male anatomy, analyzes of the organism show that the object is biologically genderless due to the absence of any hormone, sexual organ or genetic information capable of deducing the sex of the creature.

SCP-XXXX-4 contains a layer composed of an unknown metal material covering the entire outer surface of the body of the anomaly up to the height of the neck. The shape of the metallic layer of SCP-XXXX-4 resembles a type of armor. Patterns of symbols of Maruanic⁸ origin, unrelated to any Canaanite pattern or any other pattern of any civilization of that time, are present in some parts of SCP-XXXX-4 armor, mainly on the breastplate. The metallic layer appears to be a composition of SCP-XXXX-4 organism. Attempts to permanently damage the anomalous armor failed. Damage caused to the metamorphic metal layer is regenerated immediately.

The form of the armor appears to be modifiable in favor of SCP-XXXX-4, showing that the anomaly contains full control over the material present in its organism, which allows SCP-XXXX-4 to generate weapons and other instruments from its own metamorphic metal that covers it. The instruments formed by the anomalous metamorphic metal are created from a temporary transition from the solid state of the metal to the liquid. During this period whose duration can be variable, the material becomes an aqueous metallic mass that makes the shape of any tool or weapon in favor of SCP-XXXX-4. After the instrument is shaped, the material changes to a solid state. SCP-XXXX-4 also appears to manipulate the amount of heat in its organism and concentrate it on specific parts of the body, allowing heating of its weapon or instrument (see Incident Log-XXXX-02).

SCP-XXXX-4 appears to use a type of mask composed of the same metamorphic metal of its armor. The mask contains two openings in the region where the eyes are located. The mask can be opened by a vertical division located in its center. SCP-XXXX-4 has rarely shown that it can open its mask, it is usually opened when the anomaly attacks a certain individual or being. The facial region of SCP-XXXX-4 contains some exposed frontal parts of the skull and has a dental arch with 4x more teeth than that of an ordinary human being, each prey is about 16 cm. The mouth of SCP-XXXX-4 appears to be open similar to a Mitsukurina owstoni shark species where its mandible moves approximately 40 cm from the main facial region. Individuals who have already maintained eye contact with the face of SCP-XXXX-4 have been shown to enter a state of deep trance and have exhibited violent and hostile behavior, especially after observing a scar on the forehead region of SCP-XXXX-4 (see Incident Log-XXXX/CRFF-31).

The cephalic part of SCP-XXXX-4 is the only place on its body where its dermal layer is exposed. The skin of SCP-XXXX-4 contains a medium gray and greenish color and is in an advanced state of putrefaction, in addition to having healed wounds of unknown cause, probably caused by high exposure to fire, explosions and projectile fire during its containment attempts and other related events.

Radioisotopic analyzes carried out by [REDACTED] in ██/██/200█, before the date of Incident XXXX-01(see Incident Log-XXXX-01), show that SCP-XXXX-4 has part of its internal organic composition composed of a biological metamorphic content with a gelatinous and semi-solid consistency with black coloring. Events related to SCP-XXXX-4 show that the material is extremely resistant and apparently impossible to be destroyed. Individuals who had physical contact with the material had [DATA EXPUNGED].

SCP-XXXX-4 appears to be able to absorb any material present in the environment where it is located, being organic or inorganic and independent of the physical state it is in, which allows the creation of weapons and other instruments from the material absorbed. The absorption of SCP-XXXX-4 is one of the reasons for its constant attempts of containment breach

SCP-XXXX-4 demonstrates that it is unable to communicate verbally, but it appears to be able to communicate using 411kHz radio frequency waves emitted by the organism, which can be detected from communication equipment such as radios, monitors, sound emitters, etc. Each emitted frequency can be encoded in a phrase of an unknown language. Some coded phrases appeared to be said in an Asian-Eastern dialect derived from Latin, while others the translation is not possible. Exposure to these frequencies can lead the individual who listens to a state of deep trance, enabling the individual to commit acts of violence.

Events related to SCP-XXXX-4 demonstrate that the anomaly is extremely resistant to any damage done to its organism and also appearing to be immune to any pain, apparently demonstrating an adaptive biological nature similar to SCP-682. SCP-XXXX-4 demonstrates extraordinary physical characteristics, such as superhuman strength and speed, in addition to exhibiting extremely hostile behavior, which justifies its constant containment violations which also led to the creation of its extermination protocol. Currently the Foundation has no known means to neutralize SCP-XXXX-4, only cause effective damage, but no damage is permanent due to the high regenerative capacity of SCP-XXXX-4. Events related to SCP-XXXX-4 show that the anomaly has the capacity to:

• Withstand heavy armament and artillery projectiles
• Survive the explosion of an alpha-warhead equivalent to █.█ megatons
• Regenerate after having 83.9% of its body neutralized in less than 0.16 seconds
• Travel from its starting point to its target at Mach 8.2 speed, easily breaking the sound barrier
• Drill a 1 meter thick layer of synthetic steel using a kind of drill generated from its metamorphic metal
• Excavate a tunnel with ███ kilometers long in 4.1 seconds
• Eliminate a squadron of eleven F-35A fighter jets in flight over 11 kilometers of altitude
• Eliminate a fleet of Merkava Mark IV tanks with more than 30 units and another 310 military vehicles
• Throw a SCUD-C Arab missile launcher from over 800 meters away, the impact caused the missile to detonate
• Decimate an army with more than 380 MTF Epsilon-11 members and another 1,200 Israeli military

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered by archaeologist Dr. R██ S███-████████ during an archaeological excavation that began in 1970 by an independent British historical research team. The main objective was to find possible biblical remnants about the existence of the Edomites. Between the excavation sites carried out, a tunnel had to be excavated in order to find the remains of historic artifacts. Some were dated to around 900 BC. and apparently they belonged to the people of the ancient Kingdom of Edom. About two weeks after the beginning of the excavations, three artifacts were found that possibly were not related to the Edomite people, but to the Philistine Tribe. These artifacts were SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3. Due to the Arab-Israeli conflict of the Yom Kippur Day in 1973, excavations had to be abandoned and some artifacts were lost. Among some artifacts was the remains of an individual who was apparently 2.83 meters tall. The Foundation was aware of the existence of the three artifacts after the containment breach of SCP-████ in 200█, where the anomalous instance was hidden inside the tunnel of the archaeological site and later found by the Mobile Task Force. The anomalous properties of the three components of SCP-XXXX were discovered as soon as SCP-████ accidentally removed SCP-XXXX-3 from SCP-XXXX-2, which resulted in the opening of SCP-XXXX-1 and consequently the discovery of SCP-XXXX-4.
