Current Foundation AI sweeps of media outlets and forums include parameters to check for any sightings or activity indicative of SCP-[Object]. Any content flagged should be reviewed by personnel with Level 3 clearance.

If Level 3 Personnel deem the flagged content worthy of investigation, MTF ETA-10 ("See no Evil") is to be dispatched and gather any physical evidence of an SCP-[Object] manifestation as well as interview anyone who witnessed SCP-[Object] at the nearest Foundation site before administering Class-C Amnestics to interviewed individuals, releasing them back into the general public.

Description: SCP-[Object] is a cognito-hazardous human male of varying description, that manifests nearby two or more people engaging in conversation and proceeds to interrupt by asking "What?". The individuals part of said conversation acknowledge the subject with a familiarity, either repeating what they were saying before they were interrupted, or continuing the conversation where they left off. If the affected individuals move, SCP-[Object] moves with them, staying within 5 meters of the central conversation, and stays present for up to 5 minutes and 12 seconds or until the current conversation is finished. After either the time or the conversation has expired, SCP-[Object] disappears instantaneously. Affected individuals rarely retain any memory of the encounter.

SCP-[Object]'s congnito-hazardous abilities are also present in photographs and videos that the subject is in. Causing a majority of viewers to not notice the SCP-[Object], even if the subject is explicitly pointed out in the affected media. Artistic renditions of SCP-[Object] do not have such effect. Knowlege of SCP-[Object]'s existence became known to the foundation on ██/██/2008 after
Agent █████ ████████ ████████ reported inconsistencies between records of MTF ██████████ response to containment breach by SCP-058 at Area 14 and personal recollection of the events. With help of Dr. Chun Yei and confirmation from on site memetecist Dr. Uriel Roland, the anomaly was discovered using a video feeds from MTF ██████████ body cameras. Dr. Yei: We are now going to view a recording from camera #2 and count all the subjects we see, for clarity to those who don't have access to these recordings, camera 2# viewed most of the interior of the vehicle being assigned to Agent ███████ ███ ████████ who was seated near the cabin of the vehicle.

+ Addendum [Object]-1: Experimentation Logs

_Test 1-██/██/2008_
Subject: Recording of MTF ██████████ operation through Camera #2. Reference# A3342J87.
Procedure: D-G67928 and On-Site Agent Hadrian "Roger" Morris were shown the video simultaneously and asked to count the number of individuals present in the recording.
Results: A discrepancy between the amount of individuals perceived occurred, D-G67928 claiming there was only 4 individuals in the vehicle while Agent Morris perceived 5 individuals.
Analysis: This proves that whatever is happening is the result of an amnestic cognito- hazard, Agent █████ and Agent Morris have both had Memetic Field Training and perceive SCP-[Object] while individuals without such training do not.

Agent █████: Well, near the end of briefing on the way there, it seemed he wasn't listening too carefully and Commander had to repeat the briefing in order to catch him up. I was kind of embarrassed for him.
